thanks for the reply mkkev, i am thinking the same too i will only truly buy into this once i see the rig moving untill then that AD is all words. the old sayings are the best actions speak louder then words. so fingers crossed for once in all these years we will finally see a rig move

Deadly, my own personal take is the board behaved exactly the same in the 2016 agm as the 2017 agm, the main difference is we are now funded which has been one of the difficulties facing us, i know we have been here before, but somehow this feels different.

The board should be congratulated for that, but before i start congratulating them too much, they now need to deliver on their promises, and the "significant growth" as mentioned in 1.18 in the AD needs to materialise.

When that is done i will happily buy them all a drink.

So in answer to your question, i really don't know, but we need to at least let them get the rig moving and drilling, if that happens i really think we are heading in the right direction.

Quote from article:
“It also needs fresh partners with the financial muscle and appropriate corporate governance to take the country to the next level. I see a new set of indigenous majors emerging in the short term that will take over the entire market, players like Petrolex Oil and Gas who have been working assiduously quietly in the last four years with formidable investments across the value chain.

With government shopping for new players with unblemished records, superior capacity and the financial wherewithal, we will wake up one day and companies like that would have taken over the market.”

This is what I believe we are in the process of creating - a large indigenous O&G company with financial muscle and exactly the kind of partners who can help digest a portfolio of assets.... an end-to-end supply chain from initial tech evaluation through to development and hydrocarbon marketing, that can unlock some of the many opportunities that exist in Nigeria. All the signs appear to point to this, that is except market belief and the current share price....both which will eventually align.

Looking forward to one day being able to reflect back over the excruciatingly long gestation process and be able to say we were some of the very few who called it exactly right.

Have a day off guys (or a month), why would John Bick, Chris Neal or anyone else on the Sirius board waste their time reading and replying to this tripe on a daily basis.

Having been to the GM and AGM , i too was trying to work out who Astral was, i had got it down to 2 people so Sherlock has done better than me, i know there were 2 guys sitting a few rows behind me who i didn't recognise.

It certainly isn't John Bick who i didn't see till the end of the GM, when i had a very interesting chat with GVL and JB joined us.

I did however talk to the lady with the bags, some who have attended the meetings will know who i mean, and she is also a long term small pi.

I too am sitting here patiently waiting to get on with my life ...

Given all the 'false starts' we have endured over the years I do believe we deserve some reassurance that this is not another one. If the company can RNS the delivery of two well heads then surely they can RNS the status and timetable of our rig.

My point being you have the choice, sit crying over spilt milk or try and make your losses back elsewhere.

Having digs at anyone who doesnt fit the agenda or blaming anyone other than yourself helps who exactly?

Edit -

Let me clarify, if your unhappy with the way the BoD are dealing with the situation (which is understandable) then talk to them. I doubt its beyond the realms of anyone here to arrange a meeting or phone call.
Publicly bashing people who cant reply to defend themselves on here only damages things.

Why should we sell up cut our losses.Ok for people to say that in profit or cruising around in new cars off the back of it.Not those still stuck on 75 percent loss when after this time was expecting a 750% rise.
