There's been a shake up in Licencing laws and may influence the outcome of the up and coming Marginal Field round with a new entity formed called the PIFB (petroleum Industry Fiscal Bill).

If your willing to take my word for it 1alfi & HT, I can tell you as of the 23rd of January, it was still there in Labuan.

Ht - it would appear that nobody actually knows with any certainty the location of the COSL Power rig. In your experience does this 'going off radar' happen regular or is it more a rare event.

If the rig was/is under contract to SRSP and was ready to drill ORORO in H1/H2 yet some how ends up drilling ADD/COSL/Havocs 'other' project first...SPSP, having legal priority on the rig, you can bet your bottom dollar the consortium of SRSP,COSL,HAVOC ADD reached a consensus and came to some amicable deal that no doubt involves money that allowed them to have first choice of destination.

1alfiI give the reasons in my post.Ofcourse folks can believe what they like, but it ain't in Gabon, as a few minutes research would clearly indicate. Not to put to fine a point on it, the whole idea is absolutely ludicrous, but there's no point me wasting any more time on it.

I think you've missed the point.....A decision was required by the Gabon Government on the options for Gabon by 1st April 2018....the initial drill programme was for late '18 but brought forward, the Rig IS (not was) booked out to SRSP for the H1/H2 '17 drilling campaign, which has been delayed....now ask yourselves, if the COSL Power IS under contract to SRSP, have we now sub-contracted the rig to the Gabon operation.? Are we involved with project?, could this be one of our farmed-in 'pipeline of assets'.
As far as AIM systems go...they're about the size of a briefcase, with a power lead and a 12 pin plug.
over and out.

that announcemet in your link was superseded by the one dated 11th April 2017

'As outlined on 19 January 2017, the rig contractor and Pura
Vida had agreed to enter formal agreements for the planned 3 well program however the timeframe for completing and executing formal agreements has now expired. The parties have determined not to extend the date by which formal agreements were to be entered and have ceased negotiations'

As drrichard has pointed out, the presentation dated 14th November 2017, available on the same link as above, is all about 'advance Nkemebe for readinness for drilling in late 2018'

The links you gave for infield re COSL Power

has shown Nigeria for yonks, a least 6 months

RigZone has it 'en route' West Africa and again has been like that for a while

These sites are not accurate. It was 100% in Labuan on the day of the GM, ie 18th December 2017

Apart for anything else, it is simply not posssible to sign a deal with ADD and Havoc, announced last November and have everything done and dusted a few months later.
Add to which puravida would hardly grant an option to Havoc post a well drill, it's all about an option pre drill, which makes absolute sense if you think about it and read the presentation.

Finally Gabon ain't the same as Nigeria.

If the Coslpower was operating in Gabon, surely we would be able to pick her up on the AIS system?

My belief is that in view of the fact that SRSP had co-ordinated the union between COSL,ADD Energy and Havoc specifically for the ORORO campaign The Gabon union was the result of COSL, the rig owner, being offered the Gabon field, who, as a consequence of the SRSP tie up that was already in force and contracted to SRSP, they utilised this connection for the Gabon Project. Had SRSP not brought these entities together and created the union, the probability exists that the Gabon project would still be on the 'back burner'. The Gabon operation with its farm-in element, is a major project for COSL, greater than that of ORORO.

I doubt we'll pay $3m to have a rig towed about 185 miles from the Gabon site.

If Power is indeed still planned for Ororo and also for Gabon (stock photo used by those who have access to it might be just that), then I’d hope Sirius would be looking for Add/Havoc to help contribute towards the $3m mobilisation fee.

Wishful thinking Dr.Richard, clutching at straws mate..

Now if we were to predict things based on a whole raft of previous Sirius trends, this has got delay written all over it... yet again..

Ht,
1. agree re oil price and what it does to our numbers! Very nice. And looks like OPEC, for once, are playing ball.

2. re COSL Power. Struggling to find a ref re this rig and Gabon drilling , but I think you may have posed one? Anyway from slide 2, investor presentation
file:///C:/Users/Practice/Documents/Downloads/nkembe-technical-service-agreements-and-option-presentation.pdf

▪ Pura Vida has entered into agreements with Havoc Partners LLP and Add
Energy Group to advance Nkembe in readiness for drilling in late 2018

So, back to your earlier thoughts, I think, COSL Power drills Ororo and then pop down the coast to Gabon for this one?
