23/1/2018 23:03 | AV. I wouldn't want to sound rude mate, but couldn't you just do us all a favour and fuk off? | dr rosso
23/1/2018 22:52 | Hmm, well it don't say much for your sleuthing abilities if that's what you reckon Dr Rosso. You are completely and unequivocally wrong, as in 100% wrong. We all know advfn can resemble a Mad house at times, but this thread is going above and beyond that.I wonder why my posts cause some folks so much, don't know what it is, anxiety? threatened? I've no idea why as I post my views, sometimes backed up with links an information to make my point.I find myself saying this for the second time this evening, but this is breaking all boundaries in what is sensible. Some of you must live in a weird and twisted world, good luck with that. | astralvision
23/1/2018 22:49 | Neal and Pryde doing deals lol | xerot
23/1/2018 22:43 | Love that post doc and sonics too. This guy is one of the Marx Brothers. I wonder what one he is. like sonic said give us the return on investment or turn it in you useless balbags | xerot
23/1/2018 22:35 | What is so obvious is that this Astral fellow is a Co. representative. This blatant stooge is no amateur pi who just happens to have discovered an O&G Co. with potential. | dr rosso
23/1/2018 22:35 | Astral, Give up!!!!! | 1sonic
23/1/2018 22:23 | astral your in a different boat to most as you've been making money most of the other plebs here haven't including myself. I have made more m9ney so far shaking a can outside Argos. | xerot
23/1/2018 22:07 | 1sonicNo, I've read the AD but find myself still going back and re-reading bits again.I found the GM very useful, which had a presentation from BK, q&a session and meet the directors afterwards, it helped to fill in a few gaps and it also helped me to form my own opinion of the bod , which was a favourable one.As for having it all worked out, I don't think so. I've got my own views and ideas as to how this will all play out, but plenty of others on this thread have equally valid views on that.Bottom line for me is does this investment make sense and is there a decent chance that this will make good money from here in a reasonable time interval. My take is yes to all of those. | astralvision
23/1/2018 21:56 | Astralvision - did you eat the Ad Doc or write it? Over the years some hard core holders and placees have got ideas how this will pan out but you seem to have it all worked out!?!?! | 1sonic
23/1/2018 20:58 | Dear htrockaWhere's the problem?Well, not to put to fine a point on it your completely wrong.Read the article again. They intend to drill LATE 2018.The only thing that expired in April is the option It's an option 'to appraise the Loba discover etc'It ain't been 'appraised' yetCOSL Power has NOT been in West Africa drilling the last few months, it was still in Labuan a month ago and, according to minichris , and I've no reason to doubt him, it's still there.Apart from all that do you seriously reckon Pura Vida could sign a deal with ADD and Havoc in November 2017 and have the whole job drilled done and dusted a matter of weeks later? Not being rude here, but this is getting beyond the point of being sensible. | astralvision
23/1/2018 20:55 | Sorry to be a bit thick here but how can COSL Power be drilling in Gabon when it is warm stacked in Labuan? | dr rosso
23/1/2018 20:49 | Astra...with respect.....I can't make it any planer...The photo of the COSL POWER is with the article below...they require a decision on the appraisal well by April 1st 2018....they've been drilling at Gabon with Cosl Power for the past 'couple of months'...when they finished, which is programmed for January 2018, it moves to Ororo.....where's the problem? Havoc Partners LLP initial assessment and option agreement: ▪ Initial assessment: completion of 3D seismic reprocessing, interpretation of new and existing seismic data, deep structure mapping, optimising well locations, providing resource updates for Nkembe, Government liaison and interaction with Add Energy ▪ Option agreement: Havoc (or its nominee) has the option to acquire a 40%* interest in Nkembe by spending up to US$25m to appraise the Loba Discovery and test Loba Deep. Interest can be increased to 80%* should Havoc (or its nominee) elect to enter the second phase of the PSC and spend up to a further US$15m. If Havoc does not exercise the option and Pura Vida secures required funding, Havoc will earn up to a 15%* working interest in Nkembe ▪ The option expires on 1 April 2018 in short...if Cosl/Add/Havoc are currently working in Gabon.....it means they ain't working at ORORO.....yet. | htrocka2
23/1/2018 19:28 | Wasn't it around march it was rumoured one of our large backers was selling out?? | shez20
23/1/2018 19:22 | Somethings holding it up and its nothing to do with the rig. Very frustrating company, emailed them today with no reply, even though the directors said they were contactable. mmm. They wait for the AGM and spin the same old lines. I really do wish we could get some sort of closure one way or another with this as its gone on far too long without either a drill or a take out. I can't see them ever drilling and I think they are waiting to be bought out hence the constant delays and no news. Please one of the big boys put us out of our misery here. Some seem very assured in the face of the worrying lack of news flow after all these years. Makes you wonder what they know we don't | xerot
23/1/2018 18:47 | Fair points vatnabrekk | astralvision
23/1/2018 17:28 | I agree astral regarding the spud date, I believe that they could still make that in March even if the rig mobilisation doesn't happen until about the middle of February, but that would be really pushing it. Nevertheless, the target of mobilisation in January is important, because that is the first target that has been stated, and that is the one that a lot of people will focus on. | vatnabrekk
23/1/2018 17:23 | We have to presume the our BoD want to get this project moving just as much as we do. I cannot see they have any interest in unnecessarily progressing things as quickly as they can. After all we have not been in this position before: Minimal debt Oil circa $70 $18M on tap to get the project started $100M to progress it Major players as partners, key relations with Ondo State | drrichard
23/1/2018 17:16 | Think they can go past Jan and still meet spud date March vatnabrekk, but obviously sooner is better. As you yourself also said a few posts ago, 'circa March' does give a certain amount of leeway. | astralvision
23/1/2018 17:11 | Shez20 Sure taken a long while then. What was he thinking? I don't know, it boils down to if you think that: a) they were just having a laugh at investors expense b) the clear intention was to drill but finalising all the arrangements took far far longer than they envisaged I guess in March last year it still looked possible, tight but possible, that would be my take. From talking to the directors post GM it was apparent that the time we were suspended was also considerably longer than they first thought, with several cases of 'just about to get it over the line' only to be knocked back, for whatever reason, at the last minute. You could say they might be poor judges of how long the process takes given the complexity of it. Or you could say it's absolutely marvellous how they've strung together a deal that gives SRSP the operator role and puts us in the driving seat, with world class partners on board, all for limited dilution taking into account the LOG convertible and the REYL (subject to performance) financing deal. I'm going for the latter and looking forwards not back, but appreciate everyone is entitled to take whatever view on the matter that they want. It is , however, undeniable that for the first time in SRSP's history that are actually in a position to execute on their strategy. That is very exciting. I think this year is going to be a good one for SRSP. | astralvision
23/1/2018 17:10 | What will happen to the share price if there is no news of rig mobilisation in January? I suspect not a lot, because it seems to me that the market is not expecting a great deal from SRSP right now, otherwise the share price would be a lot higher than it is. So perhaps failure to keep to these initial target dates is already built into the share price Of course, if I'm right, then that would imply that if we do get news of mobilisation before the end of this month (still 8 days to go) then the share price should, theoretically, jump up substantially. IMHO,of course! | vatnabrekk |
