Sherl0ck “I enjoy AV’s posts and find them well researched and refreshingly, most likely grounded in reality.”

I do not share the same enthusiasm for the value of AV’s posts

Astravision

72908 - 15 Dec - Last chance to get stupidly cheap shares

72931 - 16 Dec - 1p is about to be left behind.

72940 - 16 Dec - But one thing I am very confident of, we’re going to see some big gain days with associated large volume.

73141 - Dec 21 - Festive sale won't last forever, when the cheapie shares are gone, they're gone. You'll be luck to pick them up sub 1p for too much longer.imo.

Since the above predictions the share price fell to a mid of .85 and even now still remains sub 1p. And that’s what I consider to be reality.

Long term shareholders have been fed this deal of what a wonderful company this is and how its going to bring us all rich rewards, too many times. Creating an image, of how lucrative the future of this company is going to be, is not moving the share price any. It’s been done several times before and each time has come to nothing.

Given the company’s history of ambiguity and lack of clarity it is now a time for the company to become more transparent in its activities in order to give some stimulation to the share price

Best wishes to long term holders and continuing in hope that we shortly get an update that is actually going to have an upward effect on the SP

Give it a break Dr Rosso - he seems like a genuine poster - why do you always presume someone who has attended meetings and done their research is ‘in the know’ - ha ha!!

I enjoy AV’s posts and find them well researched and refreshingly, most likely grounded in reality. Throwing out the usual accusations of ‘itk’ & ‘in collusion with’ to anyone who dares to hold a different opinion to the prevailing negative wind is frankly tiresome and childish.

err, don’t think so, DrR. Not for me to reply for AV but he was posting at 22.30 yesterday.

AV seems to have done a bunk since his mate realinvestor was about to be outed. This pair of rogues shouldn't be posting on a bb. Still, deception always was part of their gameplan. Transparency lol. And the Chinese? ........

Schlumberger now looking to spend and be a producer. Is it not feasible that they could take out Sirius. They are already involved with the project and know whats there. Just a thought !

drr.. If ADD have taken over the responsibilty of running the show...it increases my confidence that all's on track.

Nov '16 ..ADD wins $15m BP contract'.... three months later..

Aug '16 ..ADD joins SRSP.......................six months later..

June '17 SRSP makes a deal with BP...(in eight years BP never got a mention yet within 6 months of ADD's arrival not only do they get a mention but we have deal)....................................then four months later..

Dec '17.......CEO of ADD Energy becomes Chief Operating Officer of SRSP.

drr...As COSL-POWER is the major link (and probably Capex) in this operation, I can only conclude that everything has been projected to tie into a continuous work programme for them. For all we know, as Dermot O Keefe appears to running both the ADD/Havoc and SRSP operations, we might have a scenario whereby 0roro 2 and 03 get drilled first, then the Extended Well Test period, during which O Keefe takes COSL Power to his 'other job' (not a million miles away), finally back again to complete SRSP's programmes....the name of the game is to start ORORO 2 so as to secure the ORORO licence compliance...

It seems to me that ADD Energy, from their remit below, have taken over the responsibility of running the show.

In that case AV I am tipping back into the buy out camp before I was on the fence (ebbing and flowing between takeout and production) which is always a convenient place to sit !

Agree ht. What interests me is why COSL has not bothered to consider two rigs for this area? Can only mean that BoD want to prove up Ororo in H1 and then do something other than with COSL, doesn't it? It is job done for COSL and they move on to the next contract drilling while Schlumberger and ADD Energy manage the production from the drilled wells??

Morning drr..

I picked this bit up in the AD...If the COSL Power is booked for the latter part of 2018...then the wells have to be drilled in Q1 '18. The Licence expires in 15 months time...otherwise it's too close to call.

A letter from the Nigerian Government to Sirius Petroleum

'The Group’s current licence to the Ororo Field has already been extended on a number of occasions and the latest renewal letter states that the current extension is the last extension of the licence to bring the Ororo Field to production..'

With production numbers being thrown around and even mention of 200k boepd(!) I thought it useful to provide a bit of context when it comes to the production of other O&G companies. (The big caveat is the difficulty in comparing mcap value on this criteria alone as there are so many other variables. Plus some are more focused on exploring & monetising their discoveries than standard production / some have many other valuable strings to their bows like LNG projects / mid & downstream activities etc).

- Tullow: <90k bopd (£3bn mcap)
- Ophir: 12k (£500m mcap)
- Kosmos: >30k (£2bn mcap)
- Premier: 75k (£500m mcap but £2.7bn debt)
- Afren: was ~ 50k net (£1.6bn mcap at 2014 peak)
- Aiteo: 90k
- Seplat: ~ 50k (£670m mcap)
- Oando: 43k ($2bn revenues)
- Shell: ~ 600k+ boepd (1000+ producing wells )
- Chevron Nigeria: 230k boepd
- Total: averaged 125k over their 50+ yrs in Nigeria
- Exxon Nigeria: 550k (300 wells)
- Addax Nigeria (owned by Sinopec): 130k+
- Eni Nigeria: 117k

Growth to 50k net for Sirius would be really outstanding and equate to high prominence. 100k truly exceptional. 200k would bring us firmly into the territory of IOC majors that have been operating in Nigeria since the ‘60’s!

Morning Ht et al. It rather looks like it will be a notional month and not an exact calendar month after the AD that the rig will be mobilised, doesn't it? A few more days then.

Agree, Vatna. Production for me, maybe TO when the assets stream leads to serious production. But surely, the JV partners are big enough to take forward our shallow offshore development project? Is that not why they are with us?

Vat before the co. Change fro investment to production there was nothing to sell....

Now they are an oil and gas production co.

Just need a few marginals and block... oh and the famous rig to arrive, drill oil and we are game on, game over and takeover... only my opinion though.

Longer term we would make more money if we didn’t sell but who gives anymore most have had enough..... me included!

Need closure to move on from this!!!!!
