I did hint last week that we may well be drilling.guarantee and owena operators so nothing stopping them.joa signed so the consortium would be hapy to get the well completed. Then when oil flows we can get our offtake moey and go in on other assets and then ..bye bye ,bye bye,bye bye, bye bye.all in my opinion of course.

RIG DETAILS
Region: Africa - West
Rig Status: Drilling
Contracted: Yes
Derrick: Loadmaster 160' x 35' x 35'; Capacity: 1,500,000 lbs; Hook + Setback: 2,400,000 lbs
Drawworks: NOV D3000UE AC 3,000 HP

Contracted has switched from no to yes. Has NewCo now been formed, I wonder? Shareholders need to approve the transformation at GM, but in the meantime things can be processed behind the scenes in anticipation of new status. Can't drill yet however.

from Sirius website;-

This page, last updated June 2017,......................................

Investing Strategy
The Company’s objective is to generate an attractive rate of return for Shareholders, predominantly through capital appreciation, by taking advantage of opportunities to invest in the oil and gas sector. The company is currently seeking funding to bring the Ororo field (OML 95) in Nigeria (in which Sirius has a 40% economic interest with its partners Guarantee Petroleum and Owena Oil & Gas) into production. If successful it is likely that Sirius would become the operator and this would trigger a reverse takeover under AiM rule 14 and require shareholder approval. Following this, complementary or unrelated acquisitions in the oil and gas sector may be made.

All the usual refs to "pipeline of assets" have been left out this time around.

We don't need funding only a few million for incidentals as funding is done with the partners. Like bron Says they are stalling for something.

Good let's hope they get a move on now and get production under way asap.

Why do we still need funding to develop ororo.......still stalling.?

Its got to be the NNPC changes in the PIB in my view...Everything else is probably good to go but oml95 has the NNPC involved..

Good article. Suggests that Schlumberger is in for a 20% working interest on each separate project. Q remains as to who gets the remaining 80%.

Kwizza..agree that the signing off at top level may be important or pivotal....Sp is safe now as we are suspended and I dont buy the rhetoric about the AD taking months, there would have been a skeletal AD already written as all the imfo would have been known if its true we,ve had a data room.

government to get this going

Take a note SRSP BoD's

From FRR's rns

"Frontera Resources Corporation (AIM: FRR), a European focused independent oil and gas exploration and production company, announces that, following queries from a number of shareholders, it has today updated its website (www.fronteraresources.com) to make information relating to its CPRs more accessible"

Every DAY of lost production of 10k barrels is costing the consortium $400k. Production costs are $25 pb but reduce to $15pb when ppt exemption applies.

No rig movement or drilling until there is a formally designated field operator.

And BP will be happy at getting chunks of 500, 000 barrels at a $10 discount!
