Well, if you keep moving the goalposts like that, Kwizza, hoping to find even greener grass you can only expect delays. Luckily, as far as we know, we have been planning for ages, we have the pieces in place and are now getting ready to press the go button.

Htrocka...range resources .
With our process less complicated than range we should be able to complete within the six months.

Great but not much use when it's still under the ground and we're suspended when's this lot gonna actually get it moving and we can get our cash back?

Ht, Bron, as I see it we will have an AD detailing the assets and prospects and we will have a GM to sanction the relisting as an operator. Why do we need to try fix a value? The market will do that, although our broker will probably release an updated note.

Bron, if you right click and follow "search google for similar images" you will see it is, in effect, a stock picture, I think.

Qprallen...The picture heading up your link,is that one of the development /production platforms mentioned on owena oil and gas website..The platforms owena claim to be on ororo?

So htrocka...can we have a vote on becoming an operator as per JOA without the AD,if not ,then how can we go down the same route as range ,we cant drill until we are an operator?..Of course according to the rns we are part of the JOA,so maybe the well ororo2 could be drilled with guarantee.or owena as the operator until such time as we have our EGM vote.As soon as ororo flows oil(no actual figure of bopd mentioned in the bp rns) we can draw down 10million ,possibly20 million.

'To my mind the AD is irrelevent in terms of the EGM vote because we are in the minority'

When SRSP issue the new AD they have to ascertain and propose the value of the new company.... This is why I'm gradually being convinced that they may go down the RRL route and delay the AD issue until they find out exactly what hydrocarbons are coming up from Ororo...)

Rig obviously not an essential requirement at the moment:

Latest email:

Hi Allan. Keeping well, I trust.

Nope. Still in Singapore as 'ready stacked' in our system. Having said that, our Rigs guy is on holiday and has been for a couple of weeks. May well be something in his in-box which not updated.

I'll let you know if I hear anything and feel free to drop me a line to nudge me whenever.

All the best,

Nic

The EGM will be a forgone conclusion..Its just a legal requirement so shareholders have the opportunity to vote.To my mind the AD is irrelevent in terms of the EGM vote because we are in the minority percentage wise.We all sit expectant waiting for huge revelations in the AD but for me the only entities that need to know sirius,s behind the scenes business ALREADY know...

Just to give you some idea of what's up front... Ranges Resources, in whom Graham Lyons is a non exec....are about to reach TD on their latest drill. They've been and still are in suspension for six months awaiting the new AD. It's interesting how they're approaching the situation in that they're drilling so as to obtain the production figures prior to relisting, hence assess the new valuation... I wonder if we'll go down the same route?

Proposed Reverse Takeover (Range Resources...)

The proposed transaction to acquire RRDSL, if completed, would constitute a reverse takeover that will be subject to a vote of the Company's shareholders and relevant regulatory stock exchange approvals. Accordingly, as required by Rule 14 of the AIM Rules for Companies, an admission document and notice of general meeting will be sent to the Company's shareholders which will, among other things, convene a general meeting of the Company at which a resolution approving the transaction will be proposed. A competent persons' report will be commissioned as part of the admission document which will provide detail on the Company's reserves and resources.

The Company currently anticipates the general meeting will take place during the second half of the 2017 financial year.

(BP must be funding these as well...but have kept a lower profile)

(As Graham is wearing both caps....ie. advisor to SRSP and Chairman of 'Pearl....'..he may 'pool' resources at his disposal and farm into a project or two...?)

(ps..Graham is also a Non exec at 'Range Resources', who are also currently suspended and waiting for a new AD....it'll be interesting to see how they turn out......as a comparison)

Interesting that the local politicians are crowing about facilitating Ororo into production isn't it? What is so special about this one over the other fields that have come to spud? Is it on a par with a 52 km road between Ondo and Lagos, or reactivating a massive Freeport initiative?
Could it be a token? Is it that huge? Is it to be step one in the offshore shallow water development plan that brings a succession of JOAs into play yielding gas and oil and jobs for the local economy?
