12/9/2017 09:12 | HT, take a day off the forums and have a trip to specsavers :) | witchywoo
12/9/2017 08:58 | you're probably right Stu1210.. yet some thing physically visible must be happening for an outsider to comment on the inner workings of SRSP. 'commencement of drilling operation at Ororo Marginal Field (OML 95)' | htrocka2
12/9/2017 08:50 | It doesn't say that they are drilling htrocka | stu1210
12/9/2017 08:47 | I find it unbelievable that information we've been waiting for emerges through a third party source. If 'hazy's' article is genuine and they are drilling at Ororo...the company have gone to an extremely lot trouble to suppress this info....The question to be asked of course is the motive behind the secrecy.....were they going to release this info with the AD so as to maximise impact on return to market? | htrocka2
12/9/2017 08:40 | Lets hope we get news by the month end or a date for egm /agm at least. gla. | aventador
12/9/2017 06:58 | Got to keep that drill turning sol, bats or no bats . | bronislav
12/9/2017 06:52 | At least its not Bats in the loft Bronny | solarno lopez
11/9/2017 20:06 | So thats whats been holding the job up. .bloody water hyacinths. | bronislav
11/9/2017 18:29 | hazydaisy........why on earth have we not been told? | htrocka2
11/9/2017 16:07 | Good spot hazydaisy. Nice to see the local press and the politicos taking note. | drrichard
11/9/2017 15:35 | Akeredolu highlighted other laudable achievements recorded by his administration in Ilaje and Ese-Odo Local Government Areas within just about six months in office to include payment of bursary and scholarship to students in tertiary institutions through OSOPADEC, clearing of water hyacinths from the water ways and efforts towards the commencement of drilling operation at Ororo Marginal Field (OML 95) to create more employments for youths and boost oil production. | hazydaisy
11/9/2017 15:33 | Herma-m.... Under Schedule 2, the new AD requires the following.. • Research and Development , Patents and Licences (Section 11); I doubt the LSE will accept farm ins to the following licences...'Block 1', 'Block 2' ,'The field'...etc, etc, as qualifying assets. | htrocka2
11/9/2017 15:31 | Still, according to Dr R we could be getting a 300 page block-buster or a slightly thinner version, either way the time taken to date seems entirely reasonable and expected. | astralvision
11/9/2017 15:28 | Still ready-stacked according to Infield, under contract to SRSP....or en-route to W.Africa, according to Rigzone. Who knows, perhaps it really will be underway soon.... | astralvision
11/9/2017 14:44 | Perhaps something else holding things up..During a suspension does a company have to inform the market.?Wonder where cosl power is ?lol. | bronislav
11/9/2017 14:10 | Would like to think the time spent to date possibly indicates they have more to write up than just Ororo.Opening up on the full story should give them more options going forwards, although I will still be happy if it is just Ororo, least for the time being. | astralvision
11/9/2017 13:49 | Dr Rosso, why do you think the forthcoming AD will be restricted to Ororo? Didn't somebody else report that at the last AGM in conversation with one of the BOD they indicated that all pipeline of assets would be disclosed in the AD? GLA | herman_m
11/9/2017 13:47 | I have a vague recollection from the last AGM that Bobo said AD doc would be required (legally) to reveal all. I could be wrong (over active imagination), maybe another attendee can verify this. | witchywoo
11/9/2017 13:22 | I go for the 3 bird combination as I like my birds !! | solarno lopez
11/9/2017 13:12 | I don't have duck at christmas I have turkey. | 6cer
11/9/2017 13:09 | Sounds as if forthcoming AD joa revelations are going to be restricted to the Ororo field for the time being. Drill to prove up the substantial 2P reserves, then the field acts as collateral for much greater RBL to open up the Blocks which Schlum/BP are undoubtedly in for. | dr rosso
11/9/2017 12:35 | sounds great, all ducks nicely in a row, like waiting for Christmas to come now. Excited. | astralvision
11/9/2017 12:28 | 19/12/2016 LONDON--Sirius Petroleum PLC (SRSP.LN) said Monday it has entered into a milestone contract for the provision of an integrated services management contract with oilfield services company Schlumberger. The investing company focused on oil and gas exploration and development opportunities in Nigeria, said the contract is for a multi-well campaign, which will commence in the first half of 2017. "entered into" = signed From Schlum own website ...... "Sirius Petroleum, an investment company focused on oil and gas exploration and development opportunities in Nigeria, awarded Schlumberger a multiwell contract for ISM operations in the Ororo field. The contract, which will begin later in 2017, includes directional drilling services, logging, completion and production fluids, cementing and pumping services, well intervention and stimulation products and services, well testing services, wellsite communications, data and software solutions as well as Cameron wellheads and production trees." | dr rosso
11/9/2017 11:54 | DGOC - notice one hour notice of trading after release of admission doc. The GM came two weeks later for shareholder approval. It's not T+14days, it's T+GO :) | pipelinepete
11/9/2017 11:02 | 'Whose fingers in the Ororo SPV pie? Plenty of candidates......' my opinion only.....candidate application will be made after Ororo hydrocarbon production rates have been established.. The BoD have, in my view, been very coy with the wording of the Schlumberger rns.....it seems that we have neither signed an 'SPM' or an 'IPM'....but something in between. The SPM indicates that they're in for the long haul as opposed to a quick 'in and out'.....'The contract envisages...'.more than just Ororo. | htrocka2 |
