05/5/2017 09:42 | Tbf carbradshaw your right I'm not buying more Iv put enough money in here over the years I'm now waiting to finally see me get payback and ideally a decent profit. Next 6 weeks or so will interesting will we finally see first oil after all these years and the brakes finally let off once and for all. | ![]() aventador

05/5/2017 09:26 | More Nonsense. I don't think any lti is happy after buying shares for 5p nearly a decade ago and still seeing the share price at 1p. The only positives now are we can finally see a light at the end of a very long tunnel, but with the clock ticking down to h1 deadline there's still a hell of a let of news they need to surely release before oil flows, as for a 15p take over complete guesswork again, no indication or evidence for that what so ever and denied by the bod, plus what is there to currently sell a 40% interest of the ororo field still not flowing! Doubt it somehow, maybe a lot further down the track maybe. | ![]() aventador

05/5/2017 08:59 | I'm not so sure that OPL 241 is next on the agenda. The Company prioritised 'The Block' and 'The Field' that already have CPR's, whereas 241 is still an OPL (under an Exploration Licence)....however, a farm-in acknowledgement by SRSP would be enough to increase the company's capitalisation. (ex Blackwood reference) Block OPL 241 '..... OPL 241 is located in the shallow waters of the Niger Delta Basin, Nigeria, ..... The total concession area is 1,182 sqkm Estimated Oil & Gas Reserves are in the range of 1,8 billion barrels plus probable reserve in excess of 400 million barrels. | ![]() htrocka2

05/5/2017 07:54 | Site survey ,environemental impact survey and CPR. are the terms of the ftsa.Once these are complete sirius can trigger the 40% of ororo...Once we have the 40% everything else may well kick in without the need to drill a well.Ororo is the keystone was the quote from red and black.strategically ororo must be critical to the whole plan and left till last to keep the whole plan safe...Many years ago I posted I doubted sirius would ever drill ororo ,certainly in its present form as sirius petroleum ,maybe those words will turn out to be correct. | ![]() bronislav
05/5/2017 07:44 | Lack of progress updates means that speculative stuff abounds as we continue to try to join the dots to form the big pic. The consortium ltf remains hidden. Who knows whether a £600m (15p) t/o offer will be forthcoming from a mid-tier player, either for the Project assets or for the Co. + assets? T/o is usually preceded by a deafening silence and creeping share transfers. The clearing of the accruals before oil revenues come through adds to the suspicion. Perhaps more likely is a 50% farm-out of all assets in return for a major LTF $500m+ consortium facility, whereby Sirius stake is reduced to 20% of everything. What would the Co. be worth sitting on 20% of 1.2bbnoe of O&G reserves, fully funded. £600m. Get O2 started, bring the multiple assets of the full Ororo Project into production. Move in on 241. T/o or production, who cares, it'll be 15p either way by year end. Assets 60x what's been declared so far, and share price 15x higher. Seems about right to me. | ![]() dr rosso
05/5/2017 06:43 | Six weeks timeframe for a drill? If so we should be in for some news soon...subsea survey one assumes is completed so today would be a good day to update. Those close to the government will have been briefed on the likely passage of the PIB and it isnt beyond the realms of possibilty that powerful people with influence are connected to sirius.News of survey, choice of rig and specific date to spud with diluion tagged on .Lets have it sirius. Conversely ,if we dont get news before the six week deadline for a six week drill then I would then be convinced it is a takeover or similar. | ![]() bronislav
04/5/2017 22:56 | 1alfi, exactly.. This is a very valid question/theory, but only the strategists behind this know for sure. Your post on this accruals situation a few weeks ago was excellent and if not signals the end, surely fires the starting gun | bumhammer
04/5/2017 22:48 | '..STPL is the subsidiary which can be used to take control of the next stage of operations following O&G extraction.' An interesting thought being that the SRSP we've all invested in on the AIM may well be reversed into and given a new logo of STPL, which could propel us into the FTSE 250. that requires a minimum £300m Cap entry. Goodbye SRSP, Hello STPL. | ![]() htrocka2
04/5/2017 22:15 | BH - I have often wondered why not wait a short time and pay accruals from oil revenues instead of placing and further dilution. Could it be a sign of houseclearing prior to sale of company ? | ![]() 1alfi
04/5/2017 21:51 | Rosso its looking like there is still a few more twists to play out here. It would be too easy just to expect survey news and rig news. I have no problem with a placing if it happens as long as its backed up with solid concrete news and time frames. The bod have said first half 2017 and i will be keeping faith until midnight on the 30th june. Hopefully have some news by the 19h may pib week. | ![]() deadly nightshade
