He said he was looking forward to a good Christmas probably the same as all of us he wasn't saying we are gonna have oil flowing by Xmas which in return would mean a good rise in Sp that comes in 2017, rumours or hopes of some pre Xmas sale are just that it would seem 5 days to go though.Personally I think we will be waiting a couple more months before anything really happens.Soon as the ad doc is done this is when they have to tell us everything that's gone on no more secrecy and cover ups and therefore a massive boost in the share price follows we might see our cash back after all!

The rumour about bobo stating he was looking forward to a good Christmas ,or words to that effect is only as good as the source .If the source was lying for his or her personal agenda then indirectly it would create ,if it didn't come to pass ,that bobo himself was lying.It may be that bobo did indeed say this and that the source is honest and not lying but things outside of the company,s control have changed and thus the Christmas news theory has changed with it .Or alternatively bobo was just merely looking forward to his turkey ,roasties ,two veg and stuffing...Lots of ambiguity in bobos words which mirrors the rns,s which all so contain ambiguity .However if we look deeper into the rns,s and read between those lines I reckon that the company has given us all we need to know ,without spelling it out for us ....The biggest clue for me and one of the last things to be announced will be what was plastered all over the master investor show.

Xmas isn't the best time of year to be announcing ground breaking news everyone's winding down or looking forward to time off, the new year is when things will start to warm up.We await the cpr full ad doc and further deals contracts to be signed and then it's all systems go to first oil, rugbyblokes post the other day nailed it.Enjoy a break and let's hope they achieve there targets for 2017.

JOA's are not partnerships and have no authority in the venture, however, we have , as yet not been told the full extent of the JOA...which may involve shares as part of the deal...(my opinion only)

Does anyone know what would happen to the recently authorised 1.7 billion shares in regard to an admission document. Would the authority to issue those shares be transferred to the newly created company ?

I think the confirmation that Schlumberger was a JV partner would send the share price stellar as well, Bron. Look how the share price of pretty big Ophir was affected by Schlumberger being in, out and in again

There's only one specific news item that would have maximum impact on the market whenever it was released.The Chinese state oil company will have its foot in the door by way of cosl ,which to me reads that China will have its foot in the door.

Whether the pib is or is not the latest thing rumoured to be the thing we are waiting on makes no difference! Why would they release any substantial news next week if they want to make maximum impact on the market? It doesn't make sense and I know you know that! Even if we are to be suspended and come back next year it doesn't make sense! Bobo said when time is right they will gain exposure and look at building up pr! Next week or early next year to me makes no sense

Shez...those large company's are with us for a reason and everything has to be signed up or they would not have signed up .Its obvious that something outside of Sirius and their associates control is holding things up.The PIB may well be the reason ,what else could it be ,the oil and gas is there ,the demand for the oil and gas is there ,Nigeria want to get things moving ,the drill team and expertise is there ,the will to get this underway will be there and we don't need to raise any cash to drill ..It's also clear to me that the 1.7 billion shares are hugely significant irrespective of what people say to the contrary.

But why the sodding 'ell does it take revolting shareholders to revolt for the Board to make a decent announcement

For Bobo to suggest everyone is going to be smiling by Christmas at the AGM, then he must know when announcements are going to be made. So far, since the AGM, there has been nothing put out there that has made me smile. The drop back in share price has, in fact, made me quite bloody grumpy.

I think that's where people have gone wrong! Things should be looked at logically and not the rubbish posted on here month after month then people would not be as disappointed when nothing comes of it! We have until March the 6th until the cpr runs out for ad doc! Anything before that is a bonus otherwise you are setting self up for disappointment! If sooner happy days but when have these lot ever acted fast about anything

Shez.looking back at Sirius and the endless funding rns,s and ridiculous loan deals with penalty clauses the last thing I apply to Sirius is logic.Its either a fantastic deal waiting to happen or huge companies like cosl and schlumberger and add energy putting their names to a scam ,which I guarantee is not the case .

Wait six months if nothing then we can complain, the rumour mill of news before xmas clearly is what it is another useless rumour, we've still got another week of trading they may surprise us though.

Imho it will be new year before all deals signed off ad doc etc maybe easter time, any sooner it will be a bonus.

Whilst I am sure Team Bobo are working hard, shareholders have been taken in once again

For at the last the two years if not three the boards have been alive with threats to Team Bobo at up coming AGMs and sure enough just prior to the AGM Team Bobo issues a soothing RNS or two
