Updates from LEK show their marginal fdp to be on target towards 20k bopd. BoD helps itself to share options, exercisable at 21p, hardly a "long-term incentive" when present share price is 24p. They know the big prize lies elsewhere ie Ogo Field on Block 310.

Same applies to Sirius. New BoD will be allocated options from the recently allotted batch of 835m. Prob at the 2p rerate. Current daily share price movements can be ignored, Cantor as mm-br-nomad can pretty much do as they please with the price. The ongoing mystery with SRSP is why it takes an inordinate amount of time to get a smallish marginal field flowing oil. Over 3 years now since they got their mitts on it in Sept 2013.

agree, ish, x1000 but, with a fair wind, say 3 month to get a rig onsite and running, 1-3 months drilling and hey we are ending H1. So, if he is correct we should hear a lot more in the next few weeks as they have t get their skates on.

Of course, if we are going for a sell off, then all is moot

H1 is very vague and unconvincing

Well, Bobo seems to think so, x1000. From the last RNS

"Having Add Energy leading the operations in the field reinforces our confidence in achieving first hydrocarbons in H1 2017."

Are SRSP really going to produce ? Is it not just a long drawn out pretence with a view to a sell-off ?

Why don't we ask Black and Red that question HT2 in fact why don't we ask him about the SRSP operations in Nigeria

Once Ororo starts successfully producing Hydrocarbons in H1, presumably the next move will be to apply/acquire the 20 year field Licence and establish SRSP as a solid O@G concern. Ororo has 29 months left on its current three year Field Licence extension, whereas progress on OML 241, with 40 months left on theirs, will no doubt come out into the open in due course.

Schlumberger + ADD look to be as good a team as you can get in the gas production business. Chuck in GVL and the Havoc crew. Looks abs top notch. Advanced telemetry presumably involves the latest sophisticated use of remote miniaturised sensors for computerised control of hc flow.
There is just no way in the world this lot (and $53bn COSL-CNOOC) are here merely for a marginal field containing stranded gas. Would be good to be given progress updates instead of being kept in the dark through H1, otherwise speculation becomes rife.

Nice one b or r

A quick post just to show that as little as 36 months ago, gas was not even a consideration....yet now are proposing three gas wells.(note the share price at the time...and that's without the gas element))
