18/12/2018 09:21 | Indeed muckshifter. To enable the poor in south East Asia to feed themselves it had inevitably come with a heavy price - destruction of thousands of hectares of tropical rainforests and the accompanying wildlife. Three decades ago, most of the oil palms were planted on swamp land which was very fertile but then they ran out of land and moved into the rainforests. | jw30
18/12/2018 08:58 | That's a surprise jw30. But I suppose that thinking about the forest devastation I saw in Indonesia, a lot of that would have been on normal rain forest land rather than drained swamp, which makes sense of the fertiliser use. | muckshifter

17/12/2018 15:20 | This article states up to 60% of overall costs of palm oil production are attributed to fertilisers. hxxps://akvopedia.or | jw30
17/12/2018 15:12 | Fertilisers make up 30 - 50% of the production costs in palm oil. Oil palms are the heaviest consumer of fertilisers compared to other crops. Attached a link to Wilmar’s webpage stating that its fertilisers business is mainly geared towards the palm oil plantations business. hxxps://www.wilmar-i | jw30
17/12/2018 14:44 | Nearly all the palm oil plantations I've seen in SE Asia were on nutrient rich reclaimed swamp land - which was the point of the EU's objections - but it surely means that fertiliser of any sort is not needed. Wilmar's fertiliser business probably stands in its own right and has little to do with Palm Oil. | muckshifter
17/12/2018 13:39 | The sanctions have not only inflicted billions of $ of losses for US farmers but they have helped to create a new major competitor which became the world’s biggest wheat exporter last year. hxxps://www.wsj.com/ | jw30
16/12/2018 19:13 | Goose.. any patter ??Mucus been gagged x | carla1
16/12/2018 08:47 | US farmers have not been doing well since the sanctions imposed on Russia in 2014 and more recently the trade war with China. Many are going bankrupt. This will have a direct impact on future fertiliser demand in USA. hxxps://www.vox.com/ | jw30

15/12/2018 19:38 | The inevitably confidential negotiations continue between all the parties towards the end game to the point of the announcing of the full package. This comes in January with all the commitment letters having been received. This is the co guidense. Meanwhile free from fact rumour will persist from the usuals filling the void as steady gift transfer to the patient runs on. Great days! GLA. L. | lenses

14/12/2018 15:21 | Definition of a cartel: an association of entities with a purpose of keeping the price at a high level and suppressing all competition. In the context of a share BB the cartel comprise those who ramp incessantly with lies to pump the share price whilst fiercely suppressing opposing views. They are responsible for roping in the mug punters who bought between 30 and 50 p just before stage 1 and between 30 and 40 p more recently just before the 6 September rns and at the same time enabled the shorters to makes ludicrous amount of money from the PIs. We know who the cartel are now, don’t we. | jw30
