29/9/2021 09:05 | Can’t see the placing’s at 2.5 selling yet sure they would want a nice profit of 50%? If not why bother going up 🚀🚀 | average down mug

29/9/2021 09:01 | Maybe worth a last ditch punt at this price. In for a few lol | volsung
29/9/2021 09:00 | First I heard of this placing. Nice of them to offer it to their mates first. Oversubscribed too. Obviously I still blame the useless Welsh pretending to lead Wales, but that doesn't help anyone here. If the company goes bust, I wonder what happens to the tidal industry. I invested originally because I believed that was essential to a future energy requirement in the UK. However, as it says: "and the Board is considering a range of funding options for the Group including the disposal of certain non-core assets within the Group." So I assume uskmouth is about to be flogged off, no doubt to someone who'll knock it all down and build houses on it. Another bit of UK innovation rewarded with a slap in the face. | gbjbaanb

29/9/2021 07:37 | Probably best to turn off the lights | volsung
29/9/2021 07:32 | After hours RNS. After hours fund raise. 2 fairly major red lights in the life of a Company. Expect 2p opening today - anyone still holding or is it time to turn off the lights? Edit - no mention of Directors joining in the fund raise. Make that 3 major red lights. | mdchand
27/9/2021 15:10 | Agree with Muckshifter above re Uskmouth. Im not expecting it to be approved. The decision then becomes whether to devote resources and time to an appeal (which I do think they would have a good chance with) and whether they can stay afloat long enough to see the process through. If they win a CfD for Meygen they should be back in business. They would again be a company with prospects, able to access funding and a viable pipeline of projects (including Raz Blanchard in France). If they dont it will probably be curtains. Looking back the previous strategy of diversifying through a JV with the floating wind developer Ideol (does anyone remember that?) may have been a better play but Mr Gupta came along instead. If it had come off, Uskmouth would have been wildly profitable but extending the life of fossil fuel assets by burning plastic always felt a bit off for a renewable energy company. Suspect greed and maybe desperation led to that decision after the Cameron government pulled the rug out from under them. | clabburn
27/9/2021 13:47 | Come on Britain! | skinny
24/9/2021 09:53 | And of course a Billion or two is being paid to Siemens for producing the Hardware for wind turbines each year , so lots of cash around if the desire is there , bring it on Boris , you know it makes sense. | jotoha2
24/9/2021 09:49 | £50 million would of been the share payment made to Cameron if the Ausie financier had managed to stay afloat , nice work if you can get it !! | jotoha2
23/9/2021 18:39 | I know he was, but it helps to poke fun at their fanatical dribbling. I think uskmouth will go through, given the current energy crisis someone, somewhere will decide that keeping the lights on is more politically correct than the ideology. Hoping it'll be the government chucking money at anything the produces energy (it's their only solution to everything after all) and then let's that be think they'll be able to trouser some of it. | gbjbaanb |
