02/7/2013 08:30 | Has to be because of an equity raising surely...the recent director purchase is completely inconsistent with a company going belly up | adamb1978
02/7/2013 08:26 | Apart from the shock, I'm a bit surprised. Heres one scenario. Director buying, contract wins bullish statements. I doubt there are complete fabrications, but I do think its possible that the company will have been trying to raise cash. Maybe the "good news" was to assist in that process? However if they were fund raising it looks as if it has not been successful. | brownie69
02/7/2013 08:26 | FELIX99, Did similar. Lets all take consolation that we will be able to take a capital loss on our SID shares as this farce has happened before we all stuffed em into ISAs :) | phowdo
02/7/2013 08:23 | Joe Say That is what I was thinking. Possible mis-statement or irregularity perhaps and not terminal. | loverat
02/7/2013 08:22 | Doesn't make sense imo 5/6/13 - reasonably good statement in the circumstances referring to better cashflow/results in the (coming) second half We can't be talking fraud/mis-statement can we ? | joe say
02/7/2013 08:22 | Looks like TW ramps are ones to be avoided. Looking at many it seems he ramps them near the top, hence many lose money and often the companies are later suspended. One has to ask whether it is sheer bad luck or poor judgement - or something far worse. | loverat
02/7/2013 08:20 | So, ridiculously discounted placing or administration - take your pick...... How the chuff did this happen???! | stegrego
02/7/2013 08:18 | Geeze that was from left field.Sold out at 20p hurrah - but sadly bought some back at 15/18p . At least I didnt average down . I looked the other day but there was so much stock around it put me off. Now I know why I guess | felix99
02/7/2013 08:17 | I smelled a rat as soon as Tom W started ramping this (right at the peak as it happens, funny that). His record of tips is so shocking that i can only assume when he says to buy, it means he's actually selling. That prompted me to reduce here. | 1nf3rn0
02/7/2013 08:08 | M1das_Touch - all sounds remarkably familiar! 13.25 was like a red rag to a bull - will never learn with these AIM companies!! | rat attack
02/7/2013 08:04 | Glad that I sold out @ 19p so called this one right. | amorruso
02/7/2013 07:59 | really disappointed for holders, couldn't believe it when i heard the news this morning. There were a few clues around though as i alluded to in my post 1237. Good luck guys Woody | woodcutter
02/7/2013 07:56 | Flabbergasted! Director buying, new contracts, positive trading statement less than a month ago. Either the FD is incompetent or as above, a contracts gone badly wrong! Hopefully it won't be too long before more is revealed. Techno | techno20
02/7/2013 07:55 | Hmmmm, I broke one of my golden rules with this holding & have allowed a profit to turn into a (hopefully not terminal) loss. Held these from 13.25p all the way up to 20p and failed to set a stop-loss on the way down. This has a very, very bad smell about it. And yet again insiders knew something that others didn't. I was struggling to understand why the share-price was performing so badly, when apparently the future was so bright. Guess all we can do is wait and see. But in my mind, I've already written this off. Lesson learnt on a personal level - never allow a profit turn to a loss, it's saved me tens of thousands of pounds in the past. | m1das_touch
02/7/2013 07:52 | Do what...... Uh? | stegrego
02/7/2013 07:45 | WTF? Hopefully just a temporary blip to be sorted with some bridge financing. Having met the FD and CEO just weeks ago....seems like either untruths were being told or financial controls at SID leave something to be desired.... | rivaldo
02/7/2013 07:44 | Possibly. No expert on these situations but I would be surprised if things were terminal here if all the appropriate news has been released to the market. I see a director was buying shares recently (not many though). Might be a temporary difficulty that can be resolved. | loverat
02/7/2013 07:41 | Bad debts? | pj 1
02/7/2013 07:38 | Just picked up on the above news. Was there any real indication of things being this bad? | loverat
02/7/2013 07:38 | Wtf, suspended pending announcement about finances! | deanowls1
02/7/2013 07:37 | Jeeze, sold all my SID late yesterday as I didn't like the chart and wanted to buy some RBN and ITV. Bit fortunate there!!! Hope this is not a complete blow out for holders. | shanklin
01/7/2013 22:41 | Well you can't just put these falls down to poor sentiment, the market always tells a story via price action and valuation, and it clearly feels that some sort of dilution is likely to occur, this may be taking place as we speak. Despite all the positive noises emanating from the co. the price continues to erode, this cannot be put down to weak sellers, we know working capital is an issue, the co. despite its best efforts to improve the quality of its contracts via regular invoicing, the co. still needs to be able to honour its contracts already agreed using its original models. Prospects have never been brighter, so why does the price not reflect that! | bookbroker
01/7/2013 21:29 | bookbroker - Why do you think it looks odds on for a cash raising? :) | jbarker5555 |
