02/5/2013 20:23 | Cheers, Woody Caution is sensible. Nevertheless, just to add . . . On the basis of these forecasts, which might even be upgraded in due course, I think SID still looks very good value (arguably 'cheap'). | saucepan
02/5/2013 19:59 | Thanks guys My concerns were: My expectations were for more larger order flow. Shaw contract WC exposure Net debt increase I think the eps will have signifcant adjustment and exceptionals CEO comments...can't put my finger on it but just felt uncomfortable with some of the things i've read. i'll pop in from time to time and keep it on my watch list. 02/5/2013 14:58 | My thoughts also Saucepan. | cestnous
02/5/2013 14:44 | Interesting post, Woody. I respect your views. For me, it looks as if the SID chart is ready for its next up leg. | saucepan
02/5/2013 13:53 | Looking good online. You can sell 200k at 15.87p, or 100k at above the mid-price at 16.05p, whilst you can only buy 75k at the full 16.25p offer. Good luck Woodcutter. | rivaldo
02/5/2013 10:23 | I have been selling down my holding over the last few weeks and am now out, having made a reasonable return. Having been very positive on SID there have been a number of things that i haven't felt too comfortable with recently. So a culmination of little reasons but principally in the short term i have a feeling of uncertainty which has niggled away at me and i decided to sell. I have no doubt about the availability of work longer term but in the short term i'm a little cautious on the management of the business. Will review at the next set of results. 30/4/2013 13:00 | Plenty of buy's today I see,,,,,,,,,,had a top up myself,,,,,,,,thanks for the Hardmans link rivaldo :-) | cheshire man
30/4/2013 12:52 | I read the quote posted above as confirming that SID's increased visibility etc should give rise to cash-up-front contracts, i.e benefiting SID. | rivaldo
30/4/2013 12:04 | Thank you for the link. Unfortunately, it doesn't answer the question about how SID will choose to fund more profitable options that require up-front cash. | shanklin
30/4/2013 12:01 | You can pick up the hardman report on the RNWH board. | puku
30/4/2013 11:59 | Cheers Kimboy2. Good to see SID getting their own section on p.92 onwards. Here's a direct link: They go for 2.1p EPS this year and 2.3p EPS next year, with 0.25p and 0.4p dividends. In particular, "Going forward, there will be an increase in the large, long, contracts bringing visibility and embedding client relationships. Low, falling debt gives scope for such cash-up-front contracts." | rivaldo

29/4/2013 21:42 | fugwit I will try to get a copy of the Hardman research . I am confined to quarters with a chest infection , so have a bit of time to make a couple of phone calls. | roddiemac2
29/4/2013 17:16 | rm2 I'm quite happy to buy for the longer term but all the better if I can buy at a short-term low. | shanklin
29/4/2013 16:52 | Shanklin You seem to be looking very short term. If you were confident , you would not worry about short term price movements. I bought piles of these at prices between 13.25p and 16.9p . The story has not altered substantially since then. Follow the story, not the price. Bulletin boards are littered with nervous traders comments as soon as markets tip downwards , which is just one reason I don`t use them much. | roddiemac2
29/4/2013 16:51 | Thanks rm2. | fugwit
29/4/2013 16:36 | ...Not sure it was wise... If you are not sure it means a lack of preparation and you should not be buying!! | rat attack
29/4/2013 16:08 | Not sure it was wise but I bought a few at 15.319p earlier this afternoon. Since then the offer has been marked down but the current price available online is a little higher than I paid. | shanklin
29/4/2013 13:45 | Can anybody access the Hardman report? It would certainly be helpful to get clarity on how SID are going to fund themselves going forward. Until then it is difficult to see the share price going anywhere but down. All IMHO!! | shanklin
27/4/2013 10:19 | fugwit Hardman is normally employed and paid by the companies they research. | roddiemac2
26/4/2013 10:51 | Valation is starting to ge seriously interesting again. I bought last autumn around 13p pre the run up to 20p and didnt ever imagine I would be able to buy more at even vaguely close to my initial entry point. Going to have another look at the numbers again this weekend but PE looks sub 8x. Bonkers | adamb1978
25/4/2013 16:10 | Riv, well there are no guarantees of course but my conversations with the management lead me to my current view. | fugwit
25/4/2013 15:32 | Very disappointing performance....must bounce soon surely | nurdin
25/4/2013 15:25 | Cheers Fugwit. Good to know there won't be any further dilution. Looks like some being scared out unnecessarily today. I'll be at Master Investor too. Shame SID haven't got a stand there! | rivaldo |
