03/10/2022 07:17 | Hopefully this is the low point, and we will start to see a recovery this week. With sterling regaining its strength a little, a little more confidence might return. | clocktower
29/9/2022 21:23 | There is no bottom but when confidence returns there surely will be a huge bounce and it’s a question of when to average down. | clocktower
28/9/2022 14:35 | Just bought in here. Ridiculously undervalued , can't go any lower surely. | wololol
27/9/2022 11:20 | We are overdue some holding RNS's to identify who took the BR and Ninety share sales... | haywards26
22/9/2022 06:24 | Sold too in market seems - has the market got a buyer for those shares ?It's tad odd / concerning that they are happy to part with all those shares in one hitBlackrock still selling a bit tooHhmm And no directors yet either Guess the Putin factor back on the up too | value viper
21/9/2022 23:14 | Looks like Ninety One Ltd then that sold the 38m shares yesterday. It took them from 7.4% to 1.4%, so nearly out. | gleach23
21/9/2022 15:25 | She is clueless - Bankers getting extra huge bonuses, cutting stamp duty, energy relief for the rich as well as the poor, rather than seeing the rich with big houses, swimming pools, tennis courts etc etc pay full rates for they energy they use, and just saying the first 5000 kWh's are discounted for one and all, then you pay full rate unless you have special needs - and those with big yachts should not get discounted diesel either. The very rich get richer with Liz - her dad must be fuming. | clocktower
21/9/2022 08:12 | It will just put up house prices. | twirl
21/9/2022 08:05 | Completely agree. | masurenguy
21/9/2022 07:08 | Liz Truss to cut stamp duty in push for prosperity Prime minister hopes thriving housing market will boost ‘growth plan’ Liz Truss will announce radical plans to cut stamp duty in the government’s mini-budget this week in an attempt to drive economic growth, The Times has been told. The prime minister and Kwasi Kwarteng, the chancellor, have been working on the plans for more than a month and will announce them on Friday. Truss believes that cutting stamp duty will encourage economic growth by allowing more people to move and enabling first-time buyers to get on the property ladder. | masurenguy
20/9/2022 16:33 | Such a shame Blackrock hold so many, things are a tad out of our control. I'm hoping that 38p was the bottom, but then I said that at 50p... Good luck with your trades. | wanttowin
20/9/2022 15:59 | Yes gleach23, SHOE a different kettle of fish with their price point and folk shopping down too. SRC appeared confident but clearly the macro is playing a much bigger role here in trumping all and BlackRock are lobbing at almost any price. I think that 5544 on the offer at 41p is them but the question is how many do they (and any other sellers) want to lob and is there enough of a clear out at 38p to allow at least a quick bounce. That's all I'm playing for right now. The market chews up and spits out traders trying to play for more than that right now. SRC is prone to very sharp 10-20% bounces so worth a go on seeing big buyers stepping in to buy at 38p like that. However, we still have to mindful of the downside risks so always using a stop. I've been banging on about this for goodness knows how many years now, can hear myself saying it now. But gleach23 and Tole are faster than I am to spot things nowadays. Good on ya! Let's see if we can get a bounce. All imo DYOR | sphere25
20/9/2022 15:53 | MM just trying to profit and lift the share price imo. To early to average down as far as I am concerned as BR still has around 40/50m if that was some of theirs. | clocktower
20/9/2022 15:43 | Agree sphere, it's a horrible market. That said, a similar thing happened on SHOE recently where there was a dump of shares @ 137 following an unfathomable walking down of the share price and now that's up at 190. They did subsequently make a couple of decent announcements which helped too but let's hope we get some kind of rerate here. | gleach23
20/9/2022 15:36 | Good spot gleach23 That's some major mopping up. It looks like a big chunk of Blackrocks stake bought up. Is it enough though (Edit: ideally want to see some further big blocks or some big buying to clear that 41p and 42p for a bounce to lob into), in this market? We all know just how bad this market is. Big buys following that. Had a little nibble for a bounce but out if it doesn't push on. Just under 39p looks a decent stop loss exit for a small loss if it doesn't work All imo DYOR | sphere25
20/9/2022 15:34 | Yes and some buying coming in too, including a top up from me | gleach23
20/9/2022 15:33 | Similar thoughts - price moved up off the back of it | tole
20/9/2022 15:32 | Huge dump of around 35m shares @ 38p...hopefully cleared out a seller | gleach23
20/9/2022 08:55 | Still on the slide with little prospect of change of direction with the way the media put fear into the mix over inflation and recession fears. | clocktower |
