2 year chart looks like Mt Everest, what a fall from grace this has been.

I'm here for the long run, also underwater, but patience required in such a weak market.

That is always the 64$ question Masurenguy - I can fortunately afford to substantially increase my holding to reduce my average by more than 50% but at what point to do so - when it gets a small bounce or waiting until it's underway but with the risk of another drop?

Hmmmmmmmmm!

Oversold as it is but there is no floor - as the share price is like jumping in a a lift and not knowing if its going up or down, and no lights flashing to say what floors its on.

Thanks gleach.

I try to pay little attention to the share price, and instead focus on the company's performance which is growing, growing, growing :)

Patience will be rewarded here as the share price corrects itself to more sensible levels in the future, just how far into the future is the question...

Now below the last placing @51p nearly 2 years ago and it could even be heading to the IPO fund raising @40p nearly 6 years ago. Seems very undervalued at this level but sentiment often creates such anomalies so we may not have seen the bottom yet.

Haywards26...he mentions the 20% drop in the share price since the pre-close trading update so he may have been referring to that. Otherwise a look at the chart over the last year will provide an obvious alternative.

Liberum predicts SigmaRoc could double

Construction material company SigmaRoc (SRC) has seen its shares slide but Liberum says the market is ‘overestimating’ the impact of a downturn. Analyst Charlie Campbell retained his ‘buy’ recommendation and target price of 130p on the stock, which closed down 0.4% at 47.4p on Monday.

Still top of my watchlist to re-invest after exiting in March this year. Waiting to see some upward momentum to develop first before buying back in.

We think a 35% fall in profits with a 10% free cashflow decline are serious downturn scenarios.'He added that a joint venture with Arcelor Mittal is 'another seal of approval in SigmaRoc's technical and entrepreneurial abilities'.'We see over 100% upside to our unchanged target price,' he said, meaning the shares could double.

I will be looking to reduce my average from around 59p as I was wrongly of the view that it was oversold but will it slip to 40p or less?

SigmaRoc plc posted Interims this morning which reported a strong H1 2022 demonstrating the effectiveness of the Group’s diversified model. Revenue was up 17% on a pro-forma basis to £247m, EBITDA was up 6% pro-forma to £47.6m. Underlying EPS was 3.61p representing a 34.7% improvement year-on-year. H2 trading has started well, demand remains good both for housing and infrastructure, as well as for industrial minerals. The Group has successfully dealt with various supply chain and inflationary headwinds in H1 2022 and has continued to do so into H2 2022. While business performance has been pretty robust, share price has more than halved in the market correction over the past year. Valuation is therefore very attractive with forward PE ratio at 6.9x and PEG at 0.4x. The share price is back at pre-COVID levels and still correcting lower. There is no obvious rush to buy particularly with housing and construction in the firing line of higher interest rates, but SRC is certainly a share worth monitoring...

They would be wiser to follow these threads after any announcement or presentation to get a feel for their performance and that of the clowns they employed to undertake the Zoom presentation. They would be wiser to use -

It is the general fear in the market that is holding so many good investments back but they do need to pay more attention to presentation.

If you fail to wrap the chocolates in a nice box, they are not very appealing.

It is all very well to deliver the goods but the EPS must improve and I am not so sure about the 20 million Euro investment in the JV, as this will become another arms length investment, with fresh funds being raised by this stand alone venture. How many years before this shows a return?

Agreed I am confident of significant share price appreciation. I was hoping we would be propelled to the 60p+ region this week following these results and subsequent broker coverage/updates.

Feel sure they will turn up again, more patience required.

Solid results as a expected. Surprised the share price has not moved much higher in reaction to the growth of the business.

It will be interesting to see broker updates over the coming day or so. Targets must be in the £1+ region.

Very poor web presentation compared to other providers. No introduction of the speakers and visually of very low quality.

This sort of presentation does nothing for the image of the business.

The results exceeded my expectations, so now let the share price exceed them also.
The new partnership should provide even more momentum going forward.
