How enigmatic. I don't admitting I was a denizen of that town, much maligned. Still go back to visit.

Finally a close over 50p. I hope some rag tips this on the weekend and we will be well on the way to 60p then!
I got in at sub 20p and it was a gamble at the time. Very pleased with how it’s going. See their lorries all over the place delivering to the big house builders.

Another share with two boards - confusing!
Ayl30, do you reside in the great town of Aylesbury by any chance?

Gosh, this looks good again! Zero metrics on Stocko, but given the recovery sector and the chart, it looks like it might have the legs to close that rather large gap. Highly speculative, but I'm in for 80p.

Trading update for first 4 months of the year:

"Group sales were 29% up on 2020 for the four-month period. They were 4% lower than the same period in 2019, and flat against 2019 in March and April....

"The momentum we have seen through March and April, together with improving visibility on the near-term order book, means that we now expect the Group to deliver an underlying operating profit in the first half, returning the Group to profitability earlier than expected."

SIG plc: Positive Trading Momentum

SIG plc ("SIG", or "the Group") today issues a trading update for 1 January to 30 April 2021, in advance of its Annual General Meeting, which is being held on 13 May.

Trading Summary

The Group has made an encouraging start to the year, with the Return to Growth strategy continuing to deliver good progress and with trading underpinned by continued strength in RMI demand. After a solid start in January and February sales volumes then picked up strongly, and March and April traded ahead of management's expectation

Looks like an up-channel has formed.

Current bounds would seem to be 45-50p?

I see both Barrett Developments and Morgan Sindall are reporting on Thursday. Hopefully a good showing by them will give us another boost. We keep flirting with 50p, just need to get above it and make it the new support line.

Major projects like HS2 are soaking up all available building materials, leaving not enough left for ordinary works, according to one of the UK’s biggest construction employers.

The lack of building materials has now reached crisis level, it is being said, and has overtaken skills shortages as the number one risk to the recovery of the construction industry.......

Getting a bit of lick on this morning. A very welcome sight. I haven’t seen it tipped anywhere so I must conclude the market is finally waking up to the fact the house builders are using our product and that the sector is booming.
