08/6/2009 13:45 | cojonesjr - 8 Jun'09 - 11:52 - 3523 of 3526 Does anyone know how long it will take to get paid once you've agreed to sell the shares? I have been told by Hargreaves Lansdown that the funds will be available in my account on 26.6.09. | sakamuka
08/6/2009 13:26 | just bought 200k at 60.3 | dougie471
08/6/2009 12:00 | I hold a long cfd with etrade and have received the following email from the brokers. It would be intersting to know what happens if you are short on SBE "As mentioned previously with a corporate action of this type we have to wait until the take over goes to mandatory status, we are unable to change our set procedures. Normally if a take over goes mandatory then we have no choice but to accept the offer, again as you do not own the underlying shares you do not have a voting right. " | dgunn222
08/6/2009 11:26 | Hi all, CMCmarkets have just e-mailed me and confirmed that they will replicate the outcome of the 17th June for their clients, which is nice :-) Good luck to all O | orangepeel
08/6/2009 10:52 | Does anyone know how long it will take to get paid once you've agreed to sell the shares? | cojonesjr
07/6/2009 12:01 | Thanks, I have prepared an e-mail and will send to CMC first thing in the morning. | orangepeel
06/6/2009 15:53 | - no they don't need written confirmation, you can do it online after you log in, as I mentioned before. | yf23_1
06/6/2009 12:32 | Received my letter from Barclays Stockbrokers, they need a writtten confirmatin by reply to their letter of consent, by June 12th, or you can do it over the phone by calling their Client Services Team. JPGH | jpgh
06/6/2009 07:57 | "Dear Sir, I have recently left you a voicemail in relation to Sibir Energy. I can confirm that we will be accepting the £5 per share offer on your behalf. We expect to have the cash within 10 working days of the 17th of June. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you require further information." | 1nf3rn0
05/6/2009 20:18 | mine are through ig and they are on the case. I think they are waiting for confirmation from all clients and then will sell in one chunk and probably will wait until closer to the 21 day deadline. I havent heard anything back from them apart from that it is being looked after | dougie471
05/6/2009 16:24 | 1nf3rn0 Don't suppose you could get me a copy of that confirmation e-mail from IG, I am still on the case with CMC and would like to show them it can be done, Regards O | orangepeel
05/6/2009 12:59 | ouch, that'll hurt! I didn't ask about shorts. It took long enough to get an answer to my email about long spread bets, but dougie's probably right | 1nf3rn0
05/6/2009 12:16 | if you short on sibir it will be settled at £5 | dougie471
05/6/2009 11:52 | 1nf3rn0, what are IG going to do to people who are short Sibir? | bwakem
05/6/2009 07:01 | Broker update today - JP Morgan raises Sibir Energy PLC to neutral from underweight. Clowns | 1nf3rn0
04/6/2009 22:41 | DGO should also be going for £8 a share but not sure we'll get that there either. Still probably worth topping up there early doors tomorrow if you can around £4 as £5+ is a certainty I'd say. Also got confirmation to an email I sent to IG a week ago and they will be paying out Sibir spread settlements at £5 towards the end of the month. | 1nf3rn0
04/6/2009 17:30 | Spread up bets are covered by underlying buys so I don't see why that cannot be unwound - it should be a riskless transaction by the spread bet company. | yf23_1
04/6/2009 16:29 | Kerching! Now DGO has a prelim offer. Happy days back again! :-)) SIA and JKX lookin attractive for the profits! Well done longs here, share price should be GBP 8.00 per share for the bid, but all goverance things considered, GBP 5.00 is just about acceptable. | banj
04/6/2009 12:30 | O - that's really bad. You should be able to accept the offer. What I wonder is - did they bet against you, ie not hedge? So they have no shares to sell. I would protest in the strongest terms and insist on selling at £5. | willessa
04/6/2009 11:16 | If they delist wouldn't you lose your whole spreadbet - i.e. they'd treat it as the share price going to zero? | 1nf3rn0
04/6/2009 11:08 | Have been watching this board since supspension, I took out a spread bet just before and have been told by CMC that they can do nothing until suspension ends or a de-list, looks like that will be the price they were supspended at(I smell a rat!)does anynone have any thoughts on where they think the price might go should shares trade again on AIM after the offer has expired? Does anyone think they could commence trading, plummet, then de-list for example, that would be the ultimate stitch up for me. Regards to all O | orangepeel
04/6/2009 09:36 | This is an attempt to pick up PI's shares which amount to 7%. This notification is down to their dealing facility. But as I and I think many others, can only sell through the offer, the holding will only increase once the offer is over. | willessa
04/6/2009 09:14 | ok I have checked with JP Morgan and the Sibir board have waved the 30% rule for Gazprom! Also in the last 2 weeks Gazprom have only increased their share holding by just over 1%!! so maybe the institutions are not selling at the £ 5.00 offer! | gatdecor
03/6/2009 21:35 | gatdecor - 3 Jun'09 - 14:12 - 3500 of 3503 so if they now own 28.49% and a lot of the brokers are not going to sell shares till the last day of the offer, that would definitely take Gazprom well over 30%, so would Gazprom then have to make a full offer for Sibir? - Like I stated earlier, Gazprom statement of only wanting 30% was a total lie so they could pick up intial stake whilst (maybe/sure) having Baisarov's stake, enabling them to shaft PIs whilst shares are suspended and pick up over 50%. They then have control and will not obey takeover rules and just delist from UK, after all most UK holders will be gone anyway. I am just surprised no one picked up on this after much previous enlightened talk and when I posted stakes owned etc the BB all went a bit dead. I find that a bit strange, maybe due to older holders who know the full epic story being replaced by newer holders. | yf23_1
03/6/2009 15:34 | Anybody got any idea why the Daily Mail shows Sibir at £3+ today when no reports seem to be indicating it. I've sent off my certificate for the £5.00 bid and wonder what is going on. Ta! S. | simferopol |
