I hold a load of these and to be honest I wish I haven't bothered. The only hope is of the owners buy all the shares and take the company private .They can have all of mine for a pound each.

most of these shops are still empty, i've seen busy shopping areas but empty shoezone shops, and their shops stink of chemicals, nasty cheap plastic shoes

From KPMG retail sales monitor 7th September...

Overall, the high street saw 3 percent growth, dented by lower food sales growth of 1.9 percent as consumers enjoyed a fully re-opened hospitality sector. Online sales fell back by 2.5 percent compared to August 2020, though online penetration rates remained significantly above pre-pandemic levels, signalling the step up in online shopping is here to stay. Clothing, footwear and accessories continued their recovery with some healthy sales increases but from a much lower base, whilst technology and furniture/appliance categories suffered against very strong comparatives in 2020.

In August 2019 just before the August Bank Holiday Shoe Zone Plc issued a trading update and also announced board changes. Could we see a trading update in the next few days.

(Sharecast News) - Berenberg lifted its price target on Marks & Spencer to 200.0p from 195.0p on Tuesday, as it highlighted a "strong" reopening recovery.
It said the retailer's ad-hoc trading update on 20 August indicated a robust recovery since the easing of restrictions.
