Results must be any time. I spoke to the finance director last Tuesday and he told me that they would be out within 7 days. I'm a holder here, but really dislike organisations that have such poor investor information.

Leakage of results i.m.o as its been virtually all buys the past 4 days of trading.
That never happens for Shoe Zone in the past

went passed three shoe stores today in the same locale, the only one that was empty was shoezone, no one buying their ghastly cheap smelly shoes then

I have a chunk of these - mainly because I thought that compared to pre-covid revenue they are very cheap at the moment.

My only fear is that the management may have plans to take it private and could want news to be negative to keep the share price low for an eventual buyout.

I may be completely wrong and the Shoezone BOD still have all shareholders in mind - I do hope the Smiths show us this.

Yup the spread is ridiculous and another battle to overcome.

Anyways popped into the Shoe Zone store near me in Harrow Town Centre - they are closing down the unit in the St Ann's Shopping Centre and relocating v. soon into the main pedestrian High Street thoroughfare for more of a visual presence and greater catchment of shoppers passing by.

The new shop will have more floor area than the current unit and will be in the hybrid style giving that Big Box brand format on the High Street.

Store rep says the customers are back to near enough pre-pandemic levels although the shops always look empty for many - but also online sales are booming.

Staff were looking forward to moving to the new Hybrid store in Harrow and inmcreasing their turnover.

Share price Being held back with a 10% spread. Bid is 62p but those 65.5p trades are sells. Can't buy in sizeable amount.

I spoke to Shoezone yesterday and they told me that the update will be in the next 7 days. They would not specify which day!

The silence is of this company is suspicious and the broker they have signed up with is well known for helping existing large shareholders take companies private. I still think that they are doing everything possible (within what's allowed) to keep this share price down. My view

thecroots - what date do you think the update is? I can't find it anywhere and have emailed and called investor relations. In prior years it looks like this update has been nearer the end of October.

i think it is going to be an important update and i'm hoping the read across from Greggs, Next etc means that it might be a positive one.
