I think people are expecting children to need shoes when they go back to school

Makes sense.

Probably the only place in the country with zero snow this year where I live, sea level so it is warm, just bloody rains every day! Literally on the cusp of a break out now, should motor if it goes above 65p imho!

Looks good and the market seems pleased and that is what really matters to the share price Long term fundamentals and drivers for growth remain strong.

Needs to break 65p and then £1 coming up in short order. Long on these, I think that if you look at the demographic of the buyer, they are not really the people that would buy online too much. SHOE should be massively cutting costs now, especially rents which should be collapsing, especially as their retail units are not prime high street and therefore under more pricing pressure. They do nice slippers as well.

Another day at the races, with only winners on the card as SHOE races on.

Good Trading, stick with the winners.

pottsypotts: I agree - I dont think its because lost market share, rather with less people going to work or school less shoes in total were sold. With shops opening AND back to school in March I think we can see a double whammy of massive shoe sales. All those shop workers around the UK going back to work. A percentage of them will want reasonably price new shoes for work. Then millions of children going back to school - a percentage of those millions (with growing feet) will need new shoes.

So as a previous poster says" some other retailers back to near pre covid levels but not shoe" any ideas why? Is the thinking they will have lost market share to other competitors online, with them selling shoes at the lower end of the market and people actually like to try shoes on I personally can't see the logic in this

I'm thinking £1 by April is a realistic target.
Back to school new shoe boom
Back to work new shoe boom
End of Lockdown money boom

pre-covid SHOE was a very good dividend payer; now they say they won't pay for years.
