The Ukrainians are attempting to storm the nuclear power plant that is soon to be inspected by the IAEA.

It seems reasonable to me this has all be planned by the West.

Russia pulls most to its troops out of the power plant to allow the inspectors freedom to look around. As soon as they do so a very well planned, most probably planned by UK special forces, operation by the Ukrainians takes place to take the power plant.

This is a very dangerous manoeuvre as the Russian has now having to shell the Ukrainians that are only 100yds from the power plant in order to stop them from taking it.

Why is the West, especially the United States and its vassal state the UK via its propaganda which is usually via the likes of CNN, Sky News and the BBC making the peoples of the West Hate Russia, the sheer Hatred and Anger I see towards Russia and Russian people today is truly heart wrenching.

lippy4 - Putin hates the Russian oligarchs as they stole so many Russian assets under Yeltsin.

The West putting sanctions on them and taking their assets is doing Putin a great favour as it is allowing Putin to rid Russia of these oligarchs.

If I was one of these young Snowflakes I would be backing the West as I would have been brainwashed by the continual anti Russian propaganda of Western media and politicians and I would also believe that climate change is man made rather then being a normal natural occurrence of this planet.

libby4 - Are you saying you support the most Corrupt Fascist regime in Europe - the Ukraine - where over half the money being given by the US tax payer, tens and tens of billions of dollars are going straight into the pockets of Ukrainian government officials and Ukrainian oligarchs.

You now have SBU agents driving in cars that would cost them over 120 years of their normal salary to pay for.

This is exactly what would of happened to Russia if Putin hadn't been around to stop such things from going on.

"@Gecko - what you point out is the very opposite of a plan. It's just the normal lack of long term planning that you get with governments that are elected on 4 or 5 year cycles"

Slashing Agriculture by 30% when there is food inflation and shortages isnt a plan? Of course it is. A bloody stupid and sinister plan!

Ditto the energy crisis - the push for green renewables was too quick, the reliance on Russia simply stupid. But yes, over 40 years the plan hsa been clear -kick the can down the road for someone else to deal with so we can use all the money now to bribe an overly entitled population!!!!

"They don't plan for the long term as these plans are often unpopular and costly and they do not know whether they will be in power when any benefits/rewards come into effect - certainly the individual politicians and leaders will have moved on. Instead they will do what they consider 'will be popular' and react to the mood of their nations e.g.'net zero', 'me too' etc. Even then they do the bear minimum in their own term office to deliver these and simply place targets for future governments to deliver who will no doubt state that these are not their policies but are from a previous administration"

Arguable correct for the power generation debacle we now face.

But for food?
Slashing Agricultural production in Holland, for example, with sky high food prices and shortages.

No sane person does that in any scenario.

So doing so must be part of pan regardless of the deaths it will cause.

"I think you are giving them to much credit"

I think you're being extremely naive.

All of the decisions being made by the political class globally make no sense UNLESS you collectively view them through the "Great Reset" lens.

Then they make perfect sense.

Russia approved the inclusion of Japan’s Mitsui & Co. among the investors of a newly established company to operate the Russian Sakhalin 2 energy project, the company said Wednesday.

Mitsui “submitted a consent on Aug. 25, 2022 to take ownership of shares in Sakhalin Energy LLC” and was “informed of the approval from the Russian government yesterday, August 30,” the Japanese company said in a statement.

Russia has approved an application by Japan's Mitsubishi to take a stake in Russia's Sakhalin-2 liquefied natural gas (LNG) project, a government order published on Wednesday showed.

The Kremlin said it had approved Mitsubishi's request to transfer a 10 per cent stake in the old operator to an equal stake in Sakhalin Energy.

Shell has already declared its intention to exit the project in the wake of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, but Mitsui and Mitsubishi chose to maintain their investment. Gazprom will keep its stake.

So only stupid Shell, so they could virtual signal to look good to the WOKE crowd, has walked away thereby writing off over $5bln of investment.

Population demographics alone show a significant decline. See Musk's comments over population declining naturally in the first instance due to low birth rates in most countries around the world.

But add in the usual suspects

Famine
Food inflation and shortages at the moment. What's the solution? Shut down more agricultural farms in Holland etc to met "nitrogen emission targets"

Nonsensical move in the middle of food inflation and shortages unless it is planned.

War and soaring Energy costs
Slash energy production by fossil fuels in a push for green renewable power leaving yourself open to serious catastrophe if the renewables dont perform, and those you rely on to top up fossil fuel energy are unfriendly nations!!

Witness over reliance on Russia, soaring Oil prices, soaring gas/electricity prices such that many will not be able to afford to heat their homes this winter.
Cue more deaths.

War
For war is coming.

So tell me Shellsell, how has a population reduction NOT BEEN Planned?

The only way renewables will displace Fossil fuels is with a major population reduction. It's been planned, and is currently underway.

Meantime, here's a very good discussion on the WTI/Gasoline/Diesel spreads.

Liz Truss's most senior advisers have opened talks with energy firms about ramping up the production of North Sea oil and gas if she becomes prime minister.Kwasi Kwarteng, the Business Secretary, and Jacob Rees-Mogg, the Brexit opportunities minister, are striving to maximise domestic production ahead of the winter. They have been involved in discussions with global giants including Shell, Total and Perenco about plans for a new round of drilling licences, according to The Times. The pair are expected to take up the top two positions in the Treasury, with Mr Kwarteng becoming chancellor and Mr Rees-Mogg the chief secretary.... a dose of common sense from elon musk saying we will need oil and gas for many decades into the future as it will take that long to replace these fossil fuels, you cannot just stop using them he said.

Why is there no provision for those (like myself) who isn’t on the energy grid and buys LPG/oil direct from suppliers?

I’m not sure of the numbers but there must be millions of us. I guess we’re just the people falling through the cracks.

Edit - I would say that i'm one of the lucky ones and can afford the increases, but there must be millions that can't.

Making energy cheaperAUGUST 30, 2022 10 COMMENTSThe Liz Truss team have said they want to ease the energy squeeze. They like the ideas of lower taxes and the removal of needless or excessively costly regulation. Energy would be a good place to start.Let us consider first of all the £16bn or more cost of fitting a smart meter in every home for electricity. Indeed total roll out may well cost more, given the reluctance of almost half the population to have one and the troubles with how the early ones worked. The idea is to charge the mounting costs to all bill payers.Whilst electricity is this dear why not pause the programme? By all means fit one where the householder is keen and applies willingly for one, but save all the promotional money and conversion costs where people need to be talked into it.Then there are the green levies. It is a good idea to cease charging these direct to bill payers for a bit. More importantly going forward the grid controllers should only sign contracts for renewables that can deliver affordable energy without subsidy. This should be easy at current gas prices.Large scale energy  intensive industry has to buy carbon permits over an initial and reducing free  allowance. Designed to cut fossil fuel use by industry, it can end up closing plants in the U.K. only to import more from abroad. The imports will often generate more CO2 than relying on domestic production given transport costs and more reliance on coal in China and Germany. So why not suspend this scheme whilst  U.K. energy prices remain so elevated? How many high energy using businesses will we lose if we carry on with dear gas and carbon penalties?... John Redwood

For months the UK has been powering France via our underwater electricity cablesLast year the French were threatening to cut off UK electricity over a few fishing licences....?Montage © Facts4EU.OrgFacts4EU.Org has accessed the French grid and can reveal their new dependence on Brexit BritainLiz Truss was right to say "The jury's out" on the French government of Emmanuel Macron. It was only in October that ministers in his government were making threats against the United Kingdom, suggesting that the electricity supply from France to the UK was in peril if more fishing licences were not issued to French boats that had no provable claim to them. Now the worm has turned.Facts4EU.Org has been able to access the French National Grid's flow rates and can show how France is currently dependent on the UK for part of its electricity supply, via the underwater cables running between the two countries.Firstly, how Liz Truss faced up to the French threatsLast week the anti-Brexit press was full of how Liz Truss declined to call France a friend, when asked "France: friend or foe?" in the latest hustings.Instead she chose to say that such decisions are made based on French actions, stating: "The jury's out."..
