Is that a serious question ?A renewal is a renewal , what does company ownership have to do with it ? They were 'acquired' with an existing client base , with this as the biggest client.

It's not a new contract win It's a renewal of a contract with Oracle that they already had Not renewing would have removed a third of their annual revenues so all this does it maintain current run rate.

Pentest secures million-dollar contract with global technology corporation

Xcina Consulting enters into preferred supplier agreement

Shearwater Group plc, the organisational resilience group, announces that its group company, Pentest has secured a one-year contract with a global technology corporation worth in excess of US$1 million. At the same time, Xcina Consulting, another Shearwater group company has also signed a 'Master Consulting Agreement' and become a preferred supplier to the same organisation.

Under the terms of the contract, Pentest will deliver a framework for the provision of vulnerability assessment and penetration testing services to the organisation. This will form a key function within the organisation's global cloud technology infrastructure.

Through penetration testing, Pentest will perform an in-depth investigation into the organisation's resilience with the aim of uncovering any IT security vulnerabilities. This method is designed to simulate the actions of a threat actor, exposing and classifying vulnerabilities which could be used to exploit or damage an organisation if left unremedied.

Phil Higgins, CEO of Shearwater Group plc, commented:

"Securing this contract win and preferred supplier agreement for Pentest and Xcina respectively is an excellent illustration of the cross-selling opportunities we are seeing as a Group.

Yeah I sold out at 6p last year. Had a reentry last week at 2p but then saw the consolidation RNS and thought would drift. Definitely probably my favourite company. I've followed them for years.

Wouldn't top up now it's going lower I think. Sold at 1.99 after buying at 2p lol as thought the consolidation would cause this short term... Glad I did now. Long term should be good though

consolidation doesn't suit the penny-ante punters, but Berenberg does not want to go round institutions touting penny stocks.It doesn't wash.Big seller in the market
looks like all stock going thro at 1.95.Once they're cleared and move up thro 2p,
we should be on the road for 3-4p by Xmas.Very happy to hold hand of Tier One broker.
Let them do the heavy lifting.

There has been some good news pushed out but let’s look at it dispassionately. First quarterly profit had to be expected post Brookcourt acquisition. Big Brookcourt contract announcement was a renewal. You would hope that would be BAU. Big Consulting contact announcement. Those PCI deals usually are about £100k pa. What’s this in terms of annual turnover? 2-3 percent maybe. Looking for more contract announcements tbh. Then given the silence on Geolang hows that doing. The Secure Envoy distribution agreement obviously positive but how’s that company doing. That 2FA stuff is a mighty competitive market. Cash to £1.7m obviously a great improvement but only really represents about a months expenses for the group. So lots of news. Not sure it warrants the excitement generated by the rompers just yet though. Let’s wait and see.

Anyone thinking of going to the AGM?Not sure whether I can make it but you often get a good insight into the company by seeing and talking to the members of the Board both at the formal presentations but also over a cup of coffee afterwards.
