Cc - Pollen owned Shawbrook prior to the ipo . So basically they appear to want to go back to where they were 2 years ago - strange. They cannot just push the 39% higher, now that they are in a formal bid situation there are strict rules about what they can or cannot do. Very unlikely there will be a counter bid but the independent non-execs are there to represent us- problem is Ms McMurray is a very forceful individual and my assessment is that only one of the non-execs has the balls to stand up to her.

Far too cheap. I had the same with Inspired Capital - short term gain but longer term loss.

I too was looking forward to holding on this for many years and watching it give the high street banks a real challenge.

I'm not excited about 330p or 333p. I think it's opportunist and a very shrewd move by Pollen. I'm sure they have collected a significant amount of stock lower down. I see they have 38.9% and I'm sure bought a few more today.

With 39% of the shareholding it's hard to see how we will get a higher offer, as they'll be able to push that higher and be in control

I'll be holding on looking for something more. We'll see how this plays out on Monday. Looking forward to a re-rating on ALD to go with it.

is 3.30 a good deal?
not sure I don't think so I was hoping 4+ in a year or so without T/O I suppose could be worst.
PE seems too low given the growing too.

These look even more undervalued than ALD at first glance, so perhaps more scope for a decent rise? Suppose I will have to have one eye on the budget next week as well with these.

hmm. A few large trades recently and the price moving up before results next week.

ALD results were fantastic but not good enough for a sustained rise.

A very nice move away from the 250 area. The whole financial sector getting a re-rating today on the back of perceived additional interest rate rises.

You'll be lucky capricious. Everyone is on OXB and ALD with no interest here.

I've tried on here and other BB but I've had little reaction.

There is clearly a seller here around 238-250 but they can only have a limited amount of shares. I'm hoping soon we will break through 250.
