15/12/2020 11:46 | RB1206 maybe we will have to wait for change of President in US for any real movement? | michaelfenton
15/12/2020 11:46 | RB1206 Yes of course there is but why buy just to dump a couple of months later ? I would assume that Fryer bought his extra shares @16.5p not knowing he would need to sell them so shortly after. Otherwise why do it ! | redhill
15/12/2020 11:24 | Gold still struggling to break through 1849...... | rb1206

15/12/2020 10:14 | Redhill ; Your post 38920. I understand regarding 3% rule. So let's say 220m shares after J Leslie,(his holding is below 3% but still gave an RNS) you need 30m appox to be past 3% to give notification. So there has to be at least 9 or 10 or even more II's or private investors who bought at 16.5p. So there is a danger of up to 220m shares being dumped in the market due to what ever reason, just like NED Fryer and you will never know who is dumping which will create overhung and share price can stays like it is now. Its good to be aware of risk. | rb1206

15/12/2020 09:42 | Surprised at you Chestnuts - thought you were more savy | juju44
15/12/2020 09:41 | Juju So if you are correct and all the Institutes sold around 15p and then bought at 16.5p and the share price is now 14p they didnt really get a good deal, did they. Even with the nudge nudge about the placing. You do have to laugh | chestnuts
15/12/2020 09:23 | I dont think you know much about this stuff | juju44
15/12/2020 09:07 | Juju of course we do that’s more nonsense from you, I see it’s trying to rise this morning good for them , | alangriffbang
15/12/2020 08:53 | Most punters here dont seem to know how these placings work with he inside arrangements | juju44
15/12/2020 08:32 | kennyp52 Did you not keep up with what went on in the placing ? Originally Barrick were tied in to their holding for at least 12 months but as the placing was oversubscribed Shanta agreed that they could sell their holding to other investors on that day to fulfil demand. | redhill
15/12/2020 08:01 | Oh dear juju you get worse you’ve so little knowledge ,good to the other posters who challenged him , | alangriffbang
15/12/2020 08:01 | Did they not sell above 18p ? They sold very nicely ... at the expenses of a dilution and the existing shareholders as far as I can see as demonstrated by the current share price . I’m not saying their “get out of jail free card” was manipulated but they did very well to get out when they did . Placing investors must be delighted with their 20% loss in value ( let’s call it 30% as you would normally expect at least a 10% premium ) . You seem delighted ... company can do no wrong huh ? Desperate more like ? For clarity .. they sold on 23/10/20 .. the date of the announcement of the placing ! | kennyp52
15/12/2020 06:25 | "You were with them in spirit if not on paper - which you may have been". Oh, behave! | jc2706
14/12/2020 23:24 | Kenny they didnt buy in the placing and didnt sell any before | chestnuts
14/12/2020 22:37 | Juju Which of the fat cats dumped their shares before the placing????? | chestnuts
14/12/2020 22:03 | Remember some of the fat cats would have been given prior knowledge of the placing so they dumped at top price to buy back at placing price . They can then afford to dump again below the placing price and still make a killing . Its all corrupt as some of us know | juju44
14/12/2020 21:51 | RB1206 That has often been the case regarding RNS's. Can't see why there should be an overhang as the offer was oversubscribed. However looking at the latest share price register on Shanta's web site none of these new institutional shareholders accumulated over 3% of the Company so no need for an RNS. | redhill
14/12/2020 21:00 | Redhill : A lot of institutions took up the offer of shares recently. Who are these Institutions, apart from Jonathan Leslie taking 28.9m RNS out of almost 250m shares (Including Barrick) not seen or heard a peep who got those shares. May be this fund raising has created a huge overhang hence the share price tanking on daily basis. May be you can shed some light on these II,s. Don't you find bit odd all these shares and no RNS. | rb1206 |
