Yes i know he did but i believe he meant the quarterly update. If you look on the Company website they state August for the interims. Releasing them in July would be some feat !

Nearly a quarter of their billion dollar portfolio was in Barrick, which they reduced by 20% in May. Barrick are due to become a 10% shareholder in Shanta in the next couple of weeks.

i don't want to know the exact reasons behind the large institutions reducing their holdings. waste of time to seek the reality. i want to have a nice x-mas party to celebarate 25p per shonto share (£200m market cap).

The reality is we don't know why 3 of our large institutional shareholders have marginally reduced their holdings. It is probably innocent and a coincidence but maybe not.

RB1206 - in some cases they will have strategies where a certain percentage of their portfolios by value will be exposed to gold. Therefore as value of gold shares rise, they sell. Same thing happens with pension funds where a certain percentage by value has to be bonds.
