In Market crashes no one buys that’s what drops the price

I think the “plonker”; said tax allowances, not taxes. You might wish to revisit.

Anglo Asian Mining is a fairly good comparison to Shanta.Anglo Asian current market cap £140m, no debt, slightly lower production and Slightly less risky country.Shanta market cap £74m and will be debt free later this year.I expect the Shanta share price to reflect this and would hope my target of 20p is achieved later this year.

The idea is to boost consumer spending. As i will receive less interest than before i'm more likely to spend less !

Let's see how the financial market will react to this:

The Bank of England has announced an emergency cut in interest rates to shore up the economy amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Policymakers reduced rates from 0.75% to 0.25%, taking borrowing costs back down to the lowest level in history.

338 - the direction is very clear. Why would one be trading against the tide by taking new long positions? I certainly wouldn't be long banks in this environment. I do have short positions running in Societe Generale, Citigroup and Barclays after they came up on my screener on 24th Feb. They have all exceeded targets and are left to run.

On the day they announced the full years results the share price was 13p and fell to 9.5p, so not all down to virus fears. I just think they've been to clever with the accounting & also they say one thing & then change track when it suits. They promised to pay debt off in June & now it's extended to sometime in later that wasn't the plan that they've been telling us for the last 18 months. It's not good enough.

You may not but i don't see how you can tell what other PI's think.
Drop is down to virus fears, profit taking and margin calls in my opinion.
