Can't see any specific mention of SHG. If it is smaller gold companies in general then I also don't see others in the top 20 movers. So I still think that there is something out there that has leaked and the rise is being fed by others jumping when a rise like this hits their radar.

Agreed. Not seen anything like this sort of volume before. Pretty well ever! 30% up.....may need an RNS if anything corporate going on in the background. Let's see

QS99 - not sure how you've calculated $6bn?! $6bn equates to TZS 14,061 billion!

TZS 15.74bn is only $6.7million.

The Government has once again reiterated its commitment to settle the Manufacturers’ outstanding Value Added Tax Refund Claims which has reached more than TZS 15.74 billion as at the end of June, 2017.
The amount is a claim from just thirteen members of the Confederation of Tanzania Industries

The $300m fine imposed on ACA won't go far $1 =2343 TZs

There was a tip sheet recommendation that is why it started moving up at 8am.
The rest is likely to be follow on buying after the share gets noticed.

jasper, that is a good link to make, thanks, so maybe not specific VAT, maybe ACA making better headway on deal? Maybe better grades/find? Results bumper coming up? Seller cleared and people buying into CEO's v.bullish outlook and ludicrous (IMO) valuation (CEO talked of 1 X Cash flow).....? Squeeze looks like it is on though....DYOR and long may this continue to whoever posted a 45p target (not sure that is anything but ramping, but 20p on back of decent RNSs on the above is not out of the question IMO)....DYOR

Can't be a leak regarding the repayment of VAT as Petra Diamonds share price has not moved . They are owed $25 m so another explanation must be out there. I think it is a combination of the last RNS and the interview. But might as well say it is a Brexit effect as everything else seems to be blamed on it at this time.
