23/11/2021 16:02 | Some notable (peculiar perhaps?) things out there: SFR - range bound with small bits of buying coming in but not enough to clear sellers and allow the breakout higher atm. Worth keeping an eye on because I think this should really be back bobbing up around that 80p mark on those numbers. The order book looks to provide enough assurance and there appears to be enough confidence on the supply chain issues and increasing costs to allow a slight multiple expansion here but market clearly still wary. Had a little nibble here but it usually does nothing this one when I buy it and then I boredom sell it for fish and chips or giving fish and chips away. VLX and GATC retesting lows - these moves are giving regrets of just not trading them all the time, opportunities have been there with sharp moves. Both are moving like bad news will be forthcoming, which is odd for GATC (maybe just a big seller there). You can understand more with VLX because of the supply chain issues. Watch that buy order at 375p at VLX sat at the 200 day moving average (mentioned it before), it is mopping up all sells but it looks vulnerable because of the relentless waves (watch the order book) of sell orders that keep applying downward pressure (they exhaust the buyers on any slight move higher, close off 380p and then come back to try and exhaust the buyer at 375p so those are the key marks now). That buyer needs support from other big buyers and it is very important that holds or it could do an RCH type plunge. RCH - resisted temptation to have a go here and it has sliced through its 200 day moving average today on number's which clearly haven't gone down well. It is moving peculiarly too, the moves are reminiscent of shorts working in the market adding additional downward pressure. Fundamental's might come back to rule the roost here but it's looking like a key technical breakdown in the short term. XPD - Watching this one for a possible future entry. Ugly chart, too early as yet. Trading in line but the CEO has gone so it's abit up in the air, but wait and see if it stabilizes and big buying comes in at any point Think I have found the higher risk speculative play for 2022. It was AGL for this year and it just went bonkers straightaway - market's love risky shares! So blooming bonkers, even I didn't expect the move to be so ferocious. More to follow soon on that. That's all for now. All imo DYOR | sphere25 | |
