21/11/2018 14:46 | Dunderhead your not alone with having such thoughts. Once we have earnt out BP's share of the profits and with Columbus online and Row possibly shortly after I'm thinking qualifying for entry to ftse 250 is a genuine possibility here. | captainfatcat
21/11/2018 14:35 | Dh..well if it does fella you're gonna have to buy your gf some candy! | nicnic1953
21/11/2018 14:05 | Me, I know I'm an optimist but genuinely think the share price COULD be double where we are at the moment this time next year. There may well be 'trading' opportunities but I will not be partaking!! | dunderheed
21/11/2018 13:19 | Good move imo. I would do too but have no spare funds. :( | obmuj
21/11/2018 12:43 | Thanks - that would I guess make sense. Looks like the share price is making an serious effort to climb back so you may be right - hope you are - topped up at 123. | podgyted
21/11/2018 11:40 | podgyted - as has been mentioned, I think, on this BB, probably a mega RNS to include "everything" end of the month. On a more serious note, i.e. not mm games, shorting etc, which de-rampers love to come out with, I ask myself, in the light of no news since that last RNS - what on earth has changed? Answer - nothing (well, except price of oil of which we are not in mainly). Has to be just fear factor, incl with Trump plus a correction. They say drop in price is opportunity. I cannot think of a better company to take that opportunity with what is likely to make the share price soar very soon. I still maintain back to yesterday's close by close today or....errr..... very close! | obmuj
21/11/2018 11:32 | RNS "London, 26 October 2018 - Serica Energy plc (AIM: SQZ) is pleased to announce that the remedial action to remove the gas hydrates in the Erskine to Lomond pipeline has been completed. Production from Erskine has restarted and flow rates are being optimised. Further updates will be provided once the re-commissioning process is complete." When do people think the re-commissioning process will be complete? | podgyted
21/11/2018 10:34 | Agree, a fool and his money are easily parted lol. | robo175
21/11/2018 10:34 | Out@1.30 back in @1.23 with hopefully nothing having changed. | brulot
21/11/2018 10:34 | Probably best turn off computer for the day and just put it down to the often quoted "tree-shake". 130p by close.....maybe? | obmuj
21/11/2018 10:31 | Yup you,ve got to be crackers to be selling out now as the story is just beginning as the company evolves into a mid size player. | pineapple1
21/11/2018 09:43 | Maybe Mr and Mrs Hardy cashing in a bit for deposit on a new superyacht! | obmuj
21/11/2018 09:16 | Yes companies like PMO have been slaughtered. But so have others such as TRIN which is not carrying a heavy debt load. This drop has a certain feel of something manufactured on low volume to generate some sellers. | pineapple1
21/11/2018 09:10 | you do of course mean highly indebted oilers have fallen 30% | stansmith3
21/11/2018 09:10 | Wouldn't like to be out of this stock over the next 9 days. It's not unlike Serica to spring a surprise RNS on its unsuspecting stakeholders recently & given how rapidly OFAC issued the license after it's letter of comfort - it isn't beyond the realms of possibility that the deal might conclude before the 30th. Once the 30th passes and assuming the deal completes - I can't see £1.25 being a realistic buy-in figure - I'm not an authority, but I see the risk reward ratio as skewed very much towards reward at this juncture, but that said, DYOR and good luck whatever folk choose to do. | almsivi
21/11/2018 06:46 | Yes that's true has held up well in comparison thanks to all the positive newsflow. Fell back yesterday though accompanying the step down in the oil price. | bountyhunter
20/11/2018 23:04 | This has held remarkably well compared to many other oilers of a similar profile who are down 20-30% in a couple of weeks.Following their path this would be £1. Dips seem to be met with buyers, Hopefully that continues. Oil must be near a good bounce soon. imho | pineapple1
20/11/2018 22:54 | Bit of profit taking as well. Some of us who have an average buying price of under 10p can't resist taking the top off and locking in some real cash profits. Especially as there seem to be a few other cheap oil stocks around. I know next to nothing about the oil sector compared to the experts on this board but I'm very happy cashing in on my good fortune of having held Serica and am now spreading my bets hopefully to capture the next big winner. | danny baker
20/11/2018 18:36 | I nearly said the same but expected to be told "it's gas here"(!) but the two are linked and I agree 100% that that's the reason for today's decline as with other O&G stocks. ...and of course there is some oil being produced, we hope. | bountyhunter
20/11/2018 18:35 | reaction to oil price | steelwatch
20/11/2018 18:12 | Why the 6p loss today? News supposed to be soon. Big risk dipping in and out. | autographs |
