28/9/2018 16:38 | Woodford holds loads of AA. DEBT FOR EQUITY written all over it | general george
28/9/2018 16:30 | I think Woodford is overhyped. Granted he did well managing the invesco funds, but since going it alone his results have been well below par. Tracker funds are low cost and in general have performed well, in particular the US trackers. Baillee Gifford Japanese funds historically have been sound solid growth, with Japan in my view a value market. | arteespresso
28/9/2018 16:11 | I think that's right FB; he also had a chunk of Vernalis which was recently sold for peanuts pending administration! | bountyhunter
28/9/2018 16:09 | I should've said...I'm only holding WPCT...more for diversity than anything else...and last weeks update regarding Industrial Heat was a turn up for the books..... | sawney
28/9/2018 14:53 | My wife has all of woodford's products from the days they were launched. I don't think he's doing very well at all.. | fardels bear
28/9/2018 13:53 | I think that applies to most of us here! Incidentally Woodford have a stake here which I hope will come good: | bountyhunter
28/9/2018 13:46 | I think that the 7am RNS time acts as an alarm clock for many of us weekdays! Nov 1 is the completion date for the BKR transaction given in today's RNS. The beauty of this is that SQZ will be due a large payment for it's share of production from Jan 1 when this deal does finally complete. | bountyhunter
28/9/2018 13:32 | Funnily enough yes....but only bought some in June this year so not doing too badly...:-) Contrarian investing and all that... | sawney
28/9/2018 13:12 | MATD..? Pass!...I'm trying to avoid AIM so just "trading" with SQZ...and a punt on CHAR. I'm more into Investment Trusts nowadays..... | sawney
28/9/2018 12:59 | Ta, bountyhunter. Maybe I'm one of the 'too much' investors? I switch on just after 7am each workday. One day there will be conclusive news about BKR and completion or non-completion of the deal. Just a couple more weeks to wait? | ed 123
28/9/2018 12:19 | ...and while we wait...just taken a small fun punt on CHAR...will probably be selling on the rumour.... rather than the result...:-) | sawney
28/9/2018 12:06 | Just right for fireworks on the 5th then! | captainfatcat
28/9/2018 11:54 | Yes today's announcement said nothing indicating that Rhum production will have to be shut down on Sunday on expiration of the existing licence, therefore I take it that we (BP/SQZ) will either have a new licence by Monday or production will continue regardless as per an earlier post/link along those lines, which bodes well for the deal completing on Nov 1 with no need to wait for Nov 4! | bountyhunter
28/9/2018 11:48 | The statement from the company and wording in the interims on the BKR deal looks the most positive we have to date. No mention of the deal being contingent on OFAC waiver being issued as we have seen in the past. Certainly I for one feel a little more relaxed about a positive BKR outcome and the deal completing inline with the revised time table. It will be good to have Erskine back on line over the next week or so and its revenue filling the coffers once again. Certainly looks like the company has managed the resources it had prudently over this period. | captainfatcat
28/9/2018 11:44 | "At 30 June 2018, the Group held cash and cash equivalents, and term deposits of US$21.0 million. Cash and term deposits had reduced to US$13.7 million by 26 September 2018." With a huge uplift expected in the next four weeks. | dcarn
28/9/2018 11:40 | Hi Ed, with all the excitement I'm keeping a close eye on this. When at home I'm too lazy to get up off the sofa to check my investments hence this header/link set up from my mobile for my mobile! As you may have gathered we have plenty more anticipated newsflow here over the next month or so. If the OFAC waiver comes through this will rocket. imo | bountyhunter
28/9/2018 11:26 | Hmmmm ............... 'worry beads' for those who have invested too much? (Thanks, bountyhunter.) | ed 123
