27/9/2018 20:20 | Agreed Abbot, But looking at the futures, we can rest easy..... Would love a production rns | general george
27/9/2018 20:02 | My guess is an RNS tomorrow re a short delay to Erskine (which as has been suggested could well account for the recent drop back) accompanied by a confirmation of ongoing BKR processes? | bountyhunter
27/9/2018 16:05 | Simon Stevin, the rock dumper, is back on the scene. Hopefully, after a few false alarms, this really is the end of it! Lets see....... | general george
27/9/2018 14:35 | Yes agree but that is probably reason for a little of the weakness today? | dunderheed
27/9/2018 14:29 | Are you talking Erskine or BKR. Erskine will restart. Not bothered how late. Gas is going nowhere | general george
27/9/2018 13:56 | dropping because the date of restart is running out | reallyrich
27/9/2018 13:42 | Well, sale of the century is on.... | general george
27/9/2018 08:36 | I've said from the outset that a US waiver is not needed to carry on operating the field and this statement by BP confirming this is a welcome reminder that the he US treasury / OFAC cannot unilaterally shut production down. That said, Rhum qualifies for the waiver on the same grounds as the Shah Deniz development so I don't doubt Serica will also qualify. I think the real uncertainty is Trumps insistence that "old waivers won't be honored" when in actuality he's referring to the mechanisms whereby significant nation states such as Japan and Korea have been issued import waivers in the past. We can't truly believe a 10+ year old gas field in the North Sea is an effective tool to punish Iran with, or to make an example of the UK with. Hence why my patience with chestnuts grew as thin as it did as quick as it did. | almsivi
27/9/2018 07:26 | If a workaround is possible even in the face of the US digging in I suppose scoping how expensive and irritating these would be will be a drive on the share price My understanding had been that it would be rather costly to work round the USA involvement due to the supply and maintenence of deep sea equipment but perhaps that has been slightly exagerated and can be worked round. | bluke
27/9/2018 07:23 | Nice find. At the very least it means that production will continue beyond end of Sep. I guess that's why they've extended discussions to Early November. Cus then the additional oil sanctions come in... but until then Rhum is fine to produce. | spandy83
27/9/2018 07:22 | yes a great first post Bluke, I'm just making your link clickable below by capitalising the leading 'h' | bountyhunter
27/9/2018 07:13 | hmmmm......interesti Good find Bluke,thanks for posting. | pineapple1

27/9/2018 00:52 | Indeed it is. Six years a lurker, lol. However, I have a big chunk of shares in SQZ from 25p days. Maybe I have not been following it closely enough but I would have imagined having that direct from the mouth of BP means it is now extremely unlikely BKR deal will not complete. Presumably if BP are correct and US does not grant the waiever it is then a question of how irritating and expensive it is to work arounf the sanctions. | bluke
27/9/2018 00:28 | Bluke thanks for the link essentially what it contains is already well known save for having the direct comments from the gas traders. ADVFN is showing your profile as being a member since 2012 and that as your first post which seems a bit odd is that correct? | captainfatcat
27/9/2018 00:01 | Thoughts on this chaps? Doesn't seem to be posted here. hxxps://www.spglobal | bluke

26/9/2018 21:58 | GG I would hope its all worked out by now and its the implementation taking the extra time in wrapping up in the appropriate legal frame work. | captainfatcat
26/9/2018 21:42 | Hints at a trade deal. Bi lateral talks at before May returns. Surely waiver will be discussed! | general george
26/9/2018 21:04 | Getting jiggy with it...now that was a missed opportunity... | captainfatcat
26/9/2018 20:45 | Terresa May looked to be getting on ok with the Iranian President today Was it a dance off? | general george
26/9/2018 20:42 | Terresa May looked to be getting on ok with the Iranian President today from the clip I watched. Would be a nice gesture if they were to release Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe. I wonder if Rhum was on the agenda as well. | captainfatcat |
