Fardel

I have had 18 operations on my knee ( sport injuries) i exercise nearly every day, and so far its still my own, i was talking from other people experiences, in my opinion probably 75% of all new knee operation could be avoided if people did at least 30minutes of exercise a day ti increase there muscle mass of there Quads.

If any one as ever had abad knee or hip, where they try physio to help it when it really needs replacing and they might do this for a couple of yrs , and then they give you a new knee or hip, this is whats happening with Erskin, its good news in my book and the market will see it this way.

Today's news is definitely disappointing in that it couldn't be resolved without the huge expense and time involved in replacing the pipeline however it should make future flows more reliable.

I wouldnt say todays news is bad news just progression as in the last rns they were hinting that Erskin could not be unblocked. And looking at the trades people are looking long term

Get the bad news out of the way....

Would not be surprised to see something good coming hot on the heels of this.

Yeah Spandy - you're right. It's disappointing news - but in terms of the peripheral activity Serica are engaged in, it's a speedbump, not a brick wall. I will most certainly try to add if circumstances see this drop to low 70's -/- high 60's. Other catalysts are well-kent - R3, BKR completion, Rowallan & Columbus etc so we don't need to look very far for reasons to hold. An extended shutdown is usually a good thing in terms of addressing niggling issues that require HC-free operations. A smart-man would perhaps pursue intervention-related preparation on future tie-backs. I'll be making enquiries today to see if this is the case. GLA.

Am I recalling correctly that prior to some of these waxing issues we were getting circa 3,000-3,500 bopd from Erskine? And they scaled it back to try and reduce risk of build-up?If so then the long term fix should see production return to those levels? Or is that too simplistic?Either way it's evident that someone has been loading up in recent weeks so hopefully that order is still being filled and will keep price buoyant

Not surprised a similar extended shutdown due to blockage and Erskine maintenance work happened a couple of years back.

Next RNS should be Rhum 3 underway.
