12/4/2018 12:32 | The Iran sanctions issue would not prevent the deal completing and its mis-understood how it would effect SQZ by many. Ive previously emailed the company for further details. I,ve no concerns over this matter now. imho | pineapple1
12/4/2018 12:28 | I think they are saying downside risk if the Iran issue is not sorted is down to 34p. Their bear case I guess supposes that the deal goes through but only produces two thirds of expected 500m boe. Their analysis not mine. | sspurt
12/4/2018 12:25 | New broker opens with £1+ price target, could be contributing to this re-rating. | rathean
12/4/2018 12:11 | 60-70p equity price is not to far out on a fully functional Erskine if oil continues to rise. The market was under valuing SQZ at 30p but i,ve been used to that since i,ve been here for 6-7yrs so I,d like to see a time when the market over values SQZ for a change. Hope springs eternal.. I see total dross in the market on occasions with sky high valuations for no good reason other than momentum . imho | pineapple1
12/4/2018 11:58 | FB lol edited matey. | dunderheed
12/4/2018 11:30 | Maybe they are just being tricksy. | fardels bear
12/4/2018 11:20 | Very perplexed by Stifel comments......I can accept that they consider that the market is only pricing in a 60-65% chance of deal going through, but surely if the deals fails the target price must be back to 20-30p range...eg a bear case scenario., not 74p | robward
12/4/2018 11:04 | Oh, rigs.. You are a tease. | fardels bear
12/4/2018 10:33 | There are lots of newer EDIT (lol) rigs for that kind of spec in the mkt. Just a lot more expensive and longer wait time. Here's hoping not too much npt etc and at the end of the day I'm sure BP will cover this both operationally and contractually. All imho of course. | dunderheed
12/4/2018 10:30 | LG - they think the market is being too pessimistic and even on a bear case scenario their TP is 74p. they reckon market pricing in only a 60-65% chance of success for the BKR deal. | sspurt
12/4/2018 10:21 | An interesting article Captain. Thanks for posting..... | pineapple1
12/4/2018 10:13 | Good note from Stifel out today - TP 103p | sspurt
12/4/2018 09:58 | on the up once again this morning on a smaller spread now the offer 78.2p there is only 1.5K left | master rsi
12/4/2018 09:58 | I recall reading something about the original Rhum wells and there being only a couple of rigs with the capacity to drill them due to special heavy spool trees. Not sure if this applies to the intervention work. Just had a look and here was the original piece. Its probably been posted here before. "The Deepsea Bergen was brought over from Norway following modification and maintenance to bring it up to standards required under UK legislation for HP/HT work. One of the attractions of the rig was that the 15K subsea spool trees supplied by Cameron for Rhum. Normal 10K spool trees weigh 30-40 tons, but Rhum’s are 70-80 tons. Not many rigs can handle this kind of load." | captainfatcat
12/4/2018 09:07 | a good starting day as is moving higher again with some larger trades, one of them paying well ahead of offer price not long ago 77.68p offer at 77.20p 08:42:24 77.6859p 34,240 | master rsi
12/4/2018 08:12 | Fred. Olsen Energy subsidiary Dolphin Drilling has been awarded a contract by BP for 1974-built semi-submersible rig Blackford Dolphin . The rig is coming out of layup for the contract, which is for one well with four options in the UK North Sea. The contract is scheduled to commence in May 2018. That is if this vintage rig can make it to Rhum! | rogerlin

11/4/2018 17:03 | Re the 3 day old pizzas. The age is correct and I have just finished them now actually. I only put them in the fridge late last night actually. My laziness / food hygiene/ meanness drives my gf crazy actually lol! Share price nice and strong. Has anyone picked up likely r3 spud date? I don't know why but, I'd got it in my head it is definitely during May? Hopefully nice and early?! That should be another nice potential price catalyst. | dunderheed

11/4/2018 15:55 | Brent gone nuts. Over $72 now | jimbo66
11/4/2018 13:21 | Nice to see the share price moving back up. Yesterdays news along with the CEO's video interview seem to have reassured and confirmed good progress is being made and the BKR deal is progressing well. Lots of operational news to look forward to over the coming months. Its going to be great to see SQZ trading above £1 once again later this year I suspect, its been a long time coming. Tick Tock | captainfatcat
11/4/2018 12:31 | Some movement up since the earlier profit taking Further spike on the OIL price now BRENT at $71.74, new high lately | master rsi |
