22/6/2004 21:48 | Why are there 2 screen prices | lynny
19/6/2004 15:17 | Divina, you take care with this. Debt is a considerable fraction of turnover and growing. Maybe additional funding will come with dilution down to that 2p or not 2p. "The Directors acknowledge that to achieve all the ambitions set out in this report, additional funding will be required." Turnover of #21.253m (2002: #18.686m) Pre-tax loss of #1.958m (2002: #15.149m loss) Bank borrowings at 31 December 2003 were #5.569m (2002: #4.080m) | farsight
19/6/2004 14:29 | Screen will recover. MMs slaughtered it market cap 3.2m stupid. | divina
18/6/2004 22:14 | If I was clever of course I would have got sucked into what should have been a company in the right place at the right time with great ideas, only to discover that the management apparantly had no interest in the company apart from how much money they could take out of it. Looking for signs that things might now be different. Struggling. | alicewonderland
18/6/2004 17:15 | Gee Alice I wish i was clever like you. | phuckerty
18/6/2004 17:02 | Great - might have bottomed, but that don't mean it's going anywhere soon. Here's a £32,000 question for you: What areas of secuirty are Screen actually curently working on then ??? If you're struggling, you can always ask the audience. Trouble is, they probably don't know either. Or do you mean that you've observed other company prices rising before more paper is issued ?! At which point the price plummets to new depths. | alicewonderland
18/6/2004 16:52 | HI Keep an eye on this as it looks like the price has bottomed ( how many times have we heard that )BUT I HAVE NOTICED IN THE LAST 10 DAYS that the price has been up and down by .25p a sighn that i have noticed with other company share price before it begins to move north especialy today it is up another .25p after yesterdays rise and is holding. Regards | phuckerty

02/6/2004 18:30 | According to ADVFN,this company has a net dedt of £12m and a market cap of £2.7 at 5p a share. If the company fails to improve its finanacial perfomance,it may have to come to an agreement with Bank of Scotland to keep the company solvent, this may mean cash injection on condition of Debt for Equity swap. If that happens, your share will be more or less worthless. I will sell before its too late. | maysun
02/6/2004 11:12 | wont say 'I told you so' | itmak

24/5/2004 12:41 | Because in order to make a profit, the contract has to cost you less than what you charge the customer. Chasing sales at a loss for the sake of turnover or market share is very rarely a good move Quite a few people who should know better seem to forget this, and for example, pile out of a company when sales are down but profits up. It also stands to reason that if one of the criteria for awarding contracts is price, then by regularly being the lowest price, you will win more contracts, and thus the quicker you go broke. Many of the 'awarders' don't seem to realise that is in their interest that their supplier makes a profit. The late Arnold Weinstock finally realised this and moved out of the defence business completely when he realised that the MOD procurement process would end up destroying the British defence industry. Of course his big mistake then was putting Homer Simpson in charge. (He managed to turn a 2 billion pound cash pile into a 2 billion pound debt in four years. - One of the most spectaculary awful performances in history) | dmhzx
24/5/2004 11:03 | WHY ARE SEN NOT MAKING A PROFIT WITH ALL THE CONTRACT THEY HAVE WON OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS | negus1
20/5/2004 14:17 | Looks like the placing is favourite - could SEN right down to around 2p if its 2 for 1 like IDM - not one to touch with a barge pole IMO. | davethehorse
20/5/2004 10:43 | to day mm moved price down on two buys, how low do we have to go | ponty
18/5/2004 12:49 | looks like its 2p then? | itmak
17/5/2004 19:08 | divina, I'm sure the web site wouldn't make up lies, but the question is whether these contracts are profitable or not. At the moment, it wouldn't appear to be the case. This company is financially unsafe. | little beaker |
