15/2/2008 13:19 | MT, That depends on whether they are doing a grand job or not doesn't it? If they have drilled 6 more successful wells and got production over 330bpd, successfully finished the steam pilot and increased reserves, reported a maiden $1m profit at the interims, started a cbm pilot programme, and the shareprice is still at 5p, who will you blame? | relishing
15/2/2008 13:18 | Well if we don't see well over 7, 10, etc by the time of the agm, What do we say ,well done management your doing a grand job ? | mickey take
15/2/2008 13:14 | A few rollovers in the last cpl of days. The Mms know traders have to roll, pay up or sell. I wonder who's been buying in recently and changing his tune hoping for a quick raise. | unimog
15/2/2008 13:05 | should be at 10p already IMHO - so any succes in drilling or announcement of steam commencement should boot us back up to 8p (where we were before 2 succesful wells got us dropped by the MM's back to 4.5p grrrr) at least. | bobbyg2
15/2/2008 12:57 | Well over 7p imo. | relishing
15/2/2008 12:52 | a modicum of success with first step-out well and final approval for steaming will see this over 7p. | deanroberthunt
15/2/2008 12:21 | or a gang bang? | redhill
15/2/2008 11:56 | Would she be open to a bung? | relishing
15/2/2008 11:44 | As I said yesterday Vicki Lee has the Permit application - She is not finished with it and cannot divulge any further info. Vicki Lee is the engineer whose name is on the website as being assigned to the permit approval. | unionhall
15/2/2008 10:55 | considering anything else but extra production a bonus relishing - if we can get some more production under our belts before results then people will be able to tie them together to see how profitable SER can become in years to come and the i think we start to get some stability at a higher level. | bobbyg2
15/2/2008 10:45 | Yep, it would be good to have a handle on the % chances of that being the case or not but unfortunately we don't have a clue so just have to sweat it out. Extending the productive limits of the field may also have implications for the reserves I would have thought? | relishing
15/2/2008 10:40 | ok game on then - now lets have some news on the drilling problems - no dusters please. although given the more'wildcat' nature 2/3 would be pretty good. If they nail all 3 that will be 10 out of the last 10 - that alone should start to get more people taking notice of us. | bobbyg2
15/2/2008 10:33 | Looking at the AQMD site again, I think the issue is quite straightforward in that Sefton filled in the necessary form: something like this: which has now resulted in a change to the stated fuel at that time. They would have to have submitted another with this section completed: Administrative Change Change of Condition For Permit To Operate. There's little doubt that the exact fuel type would be requested for the permit, not a selection of possibles. | california joe
15/2/2008 10:27 | Don't think the application for a final licence is anything nefarious or wasn't foreseen. From the latest "We contracted a company to perform the AQMD Air Emissions Source Test during the pilot program. This will finalize our Air Board operating permit for the steam generator by verifying emissions are at or below the allowable thresholds by which it was designed and built. " Emphasis on the word 'finalize', in my opinion. | moonshine1
15/2/2008 10:16 | Most stocks fluctuate up and down to some degree. What we have been lacking is an underlying uptrend which will make the fluctuations a decreasing percentage of the overall price. | relishing
15/2/2008 10:10 | morning all I think some are far to quick to assume the worst - I can fully believe that an exact source of fuel is needed to be logged on the licence and that a change of fuel would require the licence to be re submitted to be rubber stamped. As MT says california are bulldogs when it comes to environmental issues and cant imagine them allowing companies to go around changing the fuel type they use for boilers/burners willy nilly. Anyway its all just conjecture apart from what we have been told in the RNS that we are waiting for a licence for the steamer - why at this point is irrelevent. As for us spiking and re-tracing i'll be happy for us to move up in small spikes after each rns - otherwise we will just come straight back down. | bobbyg2
15/2/2008 09:47 | Mark, look at the volumes. Somehow I don't think £1400 worth of sells will have any bearing on the future shareprice of the company. | relishing
15/2/2008 09:46 | Oil now $96. Good stuff. | relishing
15/2/2008 09:44 | Red, I know....but it does mean that the newsflow is being wasted in terms of building the share price back up...I know that's not the fault of the company but it is a shame that all good news output has taken the company valuation nowhere.....looks like this company is going stay poorly rated on this basis...... | markinthepark
15/2/2008 09:39 | Just the Market makers taking advantage of the lack of buying. | redhill |
