Have you taken into consideration Valeo may want to take a licence for its DMS road map now SEE has acquired Asaphus? Valeo is a serious player in the DMS/IMS market. As the market develops for DMS others tier 1's who have a simplistic monitoring system that bleeps annoyingly when looking a central console, wing mirror etc will have to go to companies like SEE and licence its software. Advance DMS/IMS takes years to develop even with AI. |
It should be obvious to everyone now if it wasn't before that the Caterpillar deal was a desperate firesale to shore up the cash position. They will probably get one more chance of a cash boost if and when they extend the Magna deal, but just like the Caterpillar deal before it we are negotiating with a severely weakened hand this time around. |
There was some hope that RFQs will take off in the next year after a long pause. If that occurs then there will be a strong recovery. |

So sad to see this play out the way it is at the moment. The lies, deceit, failures and hype are all the responsibility of the ceo and it's about time the board took action. He has failed and therefore should not be rewarded with his bonus and neither should there be any extensions.
How can the company be in possession of such bad news for 5 months, but continue to allow investors to believe they are doubling deliveries of dms when they only grew deliveries by 76% and also not explain why revenues in auto were even lower?
Our product was supposed to be the best and cheapest commanding a premium against our peers, but also has value add with additional feature sets? More BS. The price achieved is being eroded. |

Wow the doom and gloom merchants our out in force. See Michael Brown has a large position via Lombard Odier and is a non-ex of SEE. I'm sure he's fully aware of the cash position and if need be step in. Why does no one believe they can't raise further cash. Magna has to renew its licence soon. Perhaps other of its customers will go for license deals. The auditors had to call out the risk at one moment in time. It's not up to them to speculate how future funding will be sourced. |
