30/1/2024 11:11 | The problem is its been 5 months since they said HOT signed with confidential company.Admin cost are racking up, who paying their wages and they cant do anything with the disposal cash yet.Citric were suppose to agree to larger offtake but they only agreed to the same terms as the last one.Very frustrating, they done WG deal why are they not announcing the buyers identity...... | ![]() neo26
30/1/2024 10:14 | This will never pay a div lets be honest. They have a chance (can't believe I am even writing this) to carve out a niche as a leading energy supplier in North Africa (North Morocco at least) assuming they don't run out of money first, and stop trying to be the next Shell. Get the cash in, expand production, learn how to fund buyers (again, not one person in the company has a background in marketing hydrocarbons, finding buyers is fundamental to EVERY business) | ![]() roman2325
30/1/2024 09:19 | What would be nice is an intra-day RNS with a huge SD cash settlement that would blow the socks off the liquidity and move us to a fresh range. I would then like a follow-up RNS with a value creative bolt-on acquisition indicating a new phase and new trading range for the business. A roadmap to divis would be the icing on the cake. Is this hoping for too much? | ![]() winnet
29/1/2024 21:58 | Rise at the end, news tomorrow? | ![]() neo26
29/1/2024 14:34 | Take the point Neo, but the company has said they are confident the deal will go through and would have used more measured language surely, if they were not. Lets look at the absolute worst case, it doesn't go through and we don't develop Morrocco. We are still okay for G and A costs as the GSA has been done with the Chinese... That's my risk assessment. Okay, share price will stay are these horrific levels but I doubt we'd have a liquidity issue. Longer terms, yes, a full blown war in the ME would not be good, but I am not sure Egypt would be involved in that. Just the cost of oil would rocket. | ![]() winnet
29/1/2024 14:12 | The problem i have is that there is potential of war in the ME.Israel is even sabre rattling the egyptians at the rafah border. Why is the buyer still confidential if WG deal has been agreed? | ![]() neo26
29/1/2024 13:48 | Until that seller runs out this isn't going anywhere and I expect him to be in a more privileged position than me. We know something isn't right - just what..? | ![]() roman2325
29/1/2024 12:09 | Who else getting concerned here? | ![]() neo26
26/1/2024 15:28 | Surprised the buyer is still confidential. | ![]() neo26
26/1/2024 09:53 | Race to the bottom I think is my point Neo | ![]() roman2325
25/1/2024 09:15 | How long until SDX and Chariot merge? | ![]() roman2325
22/1/2024 11:12 | SDX have confirmed to me that all the proceeds from Egyptian sales will be made in dollars and not restricted.Presumabl | ![]() littlened
22/1/2024 11:07 | The company is an intl buyer, so they qill have cash out of country.Interestingl | ![]() neo26
22/1/2024 09:48 | For anyone unfamiliar with Egypt - you cannot get more than a book token out of the country. You cannot buy USD (and subsequently sell EGP) in any size - this is the case across many countries in Africa. And until they sort out a cratering currency this will not change. So it is irrelevant how much you sell your assets for - you cannot transfer money out of the country. Hence why I asked if SDX have actually confirmation that the central bank will grant a release of the funds. I can't understand why a little energy company would have dibs over all of the other multinationals there, but happy if that is the case. Very likely this will be a months and years game - not on pay day at the end of the week | ![]() roman2325
22/1/2024 08:21 | Not a problem for SDX | ![]() littlened
22/1/2024 07:55 | Uog having difficulties in egypt.Taking funds out of egypt looking difficult. | ![]() neo26
18/1/2024 10:10 | good for you! I've been in the markets for decades as a PI and not once has my broker ever suggested that or done that. Maybe you didn't deal with retail plebs like me! | ![]() winnet
18/1/2024 08:56 | Thats what I used to do for a living Winnet | ![]() roman2325
17/1/2024 15:37 | Er, yeah, because thats how the stock market works! lol. | ![]() winnet
17/1/2024 15:15 | Point being I would like a broker to ring the Market Maker and find out who/how much is holding this down. If I know who is holding it down I will call them directly and ask them to get out of the way and sell it higher up | ![]() roman2325
17/1/2024 12:30 | I use Hargreaves, you can call them if you like, it makes no odds either way. | ![]() winnet
17/1/2024 08:43 | Does anyone use a broker to buy and sell this (i.e. someone they physically speak to) or all done online (please)? | ![]() roman2325
12/1/2024 12:10 | Agree Winnet - whoever it is is desperate to get out whatever the level. So either they know something or are just house-cleaning - its a terrible way to do it they will find more buyers if they let it drift higher a bit (i.e. me), highly likely they are using a divvy broker who just wants the commission not to serve his client but all a hunch | ![]() roman2325
12/1/2024 10:27 | probably the same seller. I've seen this countless times. However, you'd think there'd be enough interest being generated to outweigh one seller. Guess it's the same old saying - PIs don't drive the markets... | ![]() winnet
11/1/2024 14:19 | Looks like there is an overhang. | ![]() neo26 |
