11/12/2018 08:44 | Tiny sells. Guess it’s board rainbow chasers moving on. Will be quiet here for a while and can see the share price drifting. Turn it off and come back in 6 months. | ![]() darola

10/12/2018 15:20 | Good to remain positive when the share price decline is so relentless, but here might these surprises come from? There's no new drilling planned until late Q3 2019, which leaves new 3D and confirmation of the hookup of SD gas and maybe some new Moroccan customers in H1 2019. I'd hardly call SD earnings 'priced in' at this level of share price, but that's the main add-on for the next 6 months, and hardly a surprise Unless you mean a TO, on what evidence I've no idea? | matchmade
10/12/2018 12:39 | Added a few more today. Crazy price down here. I’m expected some nice surprises from SDX over the next 6 months... | ![]() darola

06/12/2018 11:03 | PW did just say in that recent interview with the Oil Walrus that they would be funding all capex from internal cashflows. The only time they would raise is for inorganic stuff, ie an acquisition. | ![]() shakeypremis
06/12/2018 07:26 | The $10m credit facility is ring fenced - it can only be used in Morocco, so will not be usable for SD. | ![]() tournesol
05/12/2018 21:05 | Increasing net cash generation, unused $10m credit facility and reduced drilling activity... I don't see any cash unless they try a cash acquisition | ![]() the drewster
05/12/2018 17:38 | I wonder whether Paul is in the city to discuss a fund raise because from the results I think there is going to be pressure this quarter as well as next on their cash resources. It was already down by $8m and before SD can come online it seems they need to spend $15m. The netbacks are excellent so it will be interesting to see how this plays out. | ![]() novicetrade68

26/11/2018 16:55 | TGG, I am with you mate, I think the wetter gas is significant but I just don't know why they wouldn't be making a big deal of it. PW usually talks up things so why not this? | ![]() shakeypremis
26/11/2018 16:52 | shakeypremis 26 Nov '18 - 16:39 - 7206 of 7206 0 0 0 TGG, I see what you are saying. I don't think it's anything that's happened in the last 2 weeks, I am sure PW would have been crowing about in the two interviews he's done today if that was the case. ...2 weeks ago PW said SD was going live at the end of December. Today we're told that they're looking at new processing kit due to wetter gas than they'd previously planned for. You think nothing has changed in the last 2 weeks... fine. | ![]() thegreatgeraldo
26/11/2018 16:51 | I seem to remember posting a while back about condensate from SD so I did a search and found this post; "An interesting mention in the latest RNS was condensate production of about 600 barrels from South Disouq. Anyone have any idea how much this might be worth to SDX? I did some very rough calculations based on a barrel price of $60 (no idea if this is what they'll get but it's a price paid for Canadian condensate for example). 600 barrels/day x $60 = $36,000/day gross Circa 20% economic interest = $36,000/day x 0.2 = $7,200/day $7,200/day net x 300 days operation per year (conservative I know) = ~$2m revenue per year. No idea what costs might be on a barrel of condensate produced from a very low cost Egyptian gas well though. Anyone have any ideas? $2m revenue is pretty meaningless but if it's mostly profit that will be meaningful as the South Disouq wells are only set to make around $10m profit per year net to SDX based on gas sales at $2.65/mscf." So maybe the liquids can add another $2m in profit per year from South Disouq given current projected gas volumes." So back then SDX were saying they expected to produce around 600 barrels of condensate per day along with the gas. which is about 5-6x less than the gas/condensate ratio quoted in various SDX media which is around 60barrels/mmscf. Unless, as has foxed me before when mentioning 600 barrels of condensate per day they were referencing entitlement production and not gross? | ![]() shakeypremis
26/11/2018 16:39 | Kaos3, EBRD facility is only for use in Morocco and only US$10m. It's got nothing to do with Egypt. TGG, I see what you are saying. I don't think it's anything that's happened in the last 2 weeks, I am sure PW would have been crowing about in the two interviews he's done today if that was the case. But you are right that the gas is wetter than expected, but by how much? I seem to remember SD was supposedly going t produce around 60 barrels of condensate per mmscf, so about 3000-3600 barrels per day depending on flow rate of gas. What's that, about 1.3m barrels of condensate per year? Their entitlement condensate from that would be about 360,000 barrels per year. That is quite a lot of condensate. So if it is indeed higher than 60 barrels per mmscf, it could be very lucrative. 360,000 barrels per year is already very lucrative if you ask me. My numbers do make sense don't they? | ![]() shakeypremis
26/11/2018 16:20 | thinking aloud - they were busy as hell whole year up until failed TO. then - easy mode ??? planned. shooting and connecting. EBRD facility is a TO facility imho. frees their cash for TO. is there something more to it? I do not know. | ![]() kaos3
26/11/2018 16:10 | It's not about "timescales" here!!! I'm sure there are very good reasons for the change in plan regarding which processing kit they're going to lease.... I'd like to know what they are....what have they done in the last fortnight which has suddenly (apparently) informed them that the gas is wetter than they'd thought? It's obv good news that the gas is wetter than thought! | ![]() thegreatgeraldo |
