Yes, certainly worth multiples of a few pence.

Moroccon gas contracts are exceptionally lucrative. I wonder how much more gas there might be in the two northern areas around the two drills LNB-1 and LMS-1. Time will tell I suppose.

Correct, the NPV value is on an non-discounted basis, however my point is that it's worth substantially greater than a couple of pence to the share price There is still much further for this to rise. Interesting comments during the Investors call yesterday that SDX could potentially link the two northern discoveries to local companies in the region, they must have confidence this has opened a new play.

Hi Griffin, you are right the two Morocco drills are worth about $150m to SDX but only if they can monetise it (ie. sell the gas to customers) and we haven't had the flow rates from either yet either have we. For what it's worth I am 99% sure SDX will get the customers and will ultimately sell them the gas. Additionally it's worth noting the $150m would be realised over quite a number of years so probably won't be fully reflected in the share price. If someone wanted to take over the company right now though they would have to account for some of this extra value in the price they offered.

I don't think the market has worked out yet, the last two drills in Morocco alone added $150m NPV to SDX. I'm sure this will be pushing higher very soon with the outcome of the Kelvin drill due in the coming days.

we were saying the same things when the share price was stagnating between 40p and 50p - value will eventually be recognised. I have added another 50K shares in the last few days - I can;t see any better value elsewhere at the moment. Have all a great weekend - I think next week will be good for us.

Not sure what I am missing but the share price reaction is underwhelming to say the least - anyone would think the rns news for the last month had been duster after duster.

I'm not a clever chap but I bought these on the last spike and now even on that trade. From the presentation I have added some more as the company appears to be well run and further potential existsGood luck all

I wouldn't quite say that - no offence intended of course. I just remember you being skeptical back last year after the results from SD-1X.

shakey - SD gas, @$2.65/mcf, looks to be worth about $1/mcf net to SDX (net to their WI, of course!)

At the AGM, PW mentioned that Transglobe (from memory) with acreage to the north, have recently signed up @ $2.65mcf, but with nearer $3.50/mcf for any production over 100mmscfd.....

Based on the figures from the call of 55% WI of 47% of total revenue we come out with the following for South Disouq at 50mmscf/d at $2.65/mscf;

50 mmscf/d @ $2.65/mscf = $132,500/d gross revenue

$132,500@47% = $62,275/d to split between SDX and partner

$62,275@55% = $34,250/d net to SDX

$62,275 x 300 days = $10,275,000+, make it $11m net revenue per year (is there tax to pay on this?)

HAF - I assume, rightly or wrongly, that the oil COS at SD applies to the play concept rather than any particular target(s) they've identified.

tournesol - yes it really is a measure of management confidence that they are willing to expose themselves to public scrutiny in this way.

Much better means of building confidence than having patsy questions on youtube.

tgg - 30% sounds good. I get worried about 90% CoS drills. IIRC correctly wasn't it one of those that went pear shaped for SIA and I think Encore's failed gas storage efforts also had a 90% CoS ;)

shakey - as I was listening it did occur to me that some of the questions sounded as if they were yours - wasn't the ones about the ESPs was it?

So you're back Tournesol. I would say better late than never but I don't think that really applies as SDX is still in the early stages of realising very significant upside potential.

I was on the call this morning and got the chance to ask a couple of questions. Only 4 or 5 people asked questions though, this company is still very much under the radar if you ask me.

I listened in to today's conference call. Basically what happened was that the presentation which was given at yesterday's AGM was repeated. The slides were emailed out to participants early this morning and at 9am PW talked us through them at some length. Then he took questions from participants.

I thought that overall it was a very impressive presentation which strongly indicates that:

a) PW and his team are on top of their game

b) SDX has a pretty good asset portfolio

c) Exploration and development activities have been proceeding according to plan

d) There is a lot more work planned for the next 6-9 months

d) The share price is currently about 50% of RENAV

I conclude that the share price likely to continue its upwards trajectory

Acting on the above I have this morning started buying back in.

I would presume that the AGM presentation will be posted onto the SDX website if it's not already there. I don't know if the voice-over from yesterday or today has been recorded and made available but that would be a nice-to-have.

I have to say that SDX and PW deserve a lot of credit for organising today's conference call. PW said they recognised that lots of people can't make AGM's in London and this was being provided as an alternative.

I say BRAVO and thank you to PW. Much appreciated.

regards

T

11_percent you can't value 8000boe/d at 8000 barrels of oil. Regarding gas and its equivalency to oil in BOE (barrels of oil equivalent) this is a calculation based on energy content NOT monetary value. A BOE is not worth the same as a barrel of crude. A barrel of oil is roughly equivalent in energy terms to 5,800mscf. Even at Morocco pricing a BOE of gas isn't worth a barrel of crude.

HAF - PW said at the AGM that to go after oil at SD would need a dedicated well; the gas sands are in a channel, the oil prospects are away from the channel. He floated a COS of around 1 in 3.
