Malcy seems as positive, if not more so, than ever.

Share Proffits had these as not to be touched with a bargepole a while back, questioning the governance - no idea if they have changed their point of view.

No the rns stated that drilling will be completed by mid October, as I said yesterday around 30 days.
"On success, the well will be completed, flow tested and connected to the existing infra structure. These activities are anticipated to be carried out within 30 days of the drilling rig departing the location."
Now TD (and we don't know the depth but I'd imagine we are in the 1500 - 2000m range
could be reached sooner or later than mid October.
What we do know is that the rns defined two distinct actions, both taking around 30 days to complete.

The rns states results will be known in a month, then some time to mobilise to next target..

Neo, it will take about one week per well to drill, PW said that if it was in Texas they would drill them in one day.

do they only have 1 rig to drill? if they have one and it takes around a month then we are looking at 9 months to drill them all.

SDX Energy

SDX has announced that they have spudded the KSR-14 development well on the Sebou permit onshore Morocco. This is the first in a nine well programme following extensive technical work for optimum identification of drilling sites. The company are targeting a 50% increase in local gas sales and an increase in reserves of 100%. These results should be out in mid-October afterwhich the well will be completed, flow tested and connected to existing infrastructure within 30 days. Progress is also being made in Egypt where two exploration wells at South Disouq are targeting 150 Bscf of resources in conjunction with two development wells in 1H 2018. With so much low risk, high reward activity in both Morocco and Egypt and funded through to the end of next year, the investment case for SDX at this level is compelling. More after I meet with the company tomorrow….

ieh fan - or some short term traders knowing that no news is likely before mid October so they are selling any gains they had? I have some money coming next week so any weakness may be a gift for me to top-up ahead of possible strength leading up to the drilling results?

My take is that drilling does not take 30 days.
The drilling and the testing, connecting, takes 30 days.
Drilling might take 2 weeks and it moves on.
Don't know.

Given the expected drilling period of approximately 30 days, we are presumably using more than one rig during this campaign.
