19/9/2018 11:27 | If you're locked in then there is zero point being worries as they is nothing you can do but wait Maintain it will get done and will return to market , probably over the next two weeks Equally maintain that at £31m it's a duff acquisition for something worth half that at best mSWG has yet to deliver anything to justify its MCAP other then a pile of expensive consultants cashing in on GDPR and the promise of yet more consultants to come. The M&A market in this area is very strong but SWG are not a preferred buyer | 2lb
19/9/2018 10:55 | Agreed top class management already changed the co dramatically already . No worries here | nw99
19/9/2018 10:38 | With the Boards names and reputations guiding this recently launched "ship" then there is no need to get the life jackets out. I don't think "failure" is in their vocabulary or on their agenda either. | channel pirate

12/9/2018 15:42 | Re President Energy I know its off topic but take a look for a chuckle. 1000 barrels per day split between 3 countries. Reasonable margins in the USA, pulling the stuff out for $16/bbl but Argentina is $49/bbl which is twice as expensive as any major Ive looked at, and they are usually at the expensive end. Cash in the bank $4MM which will barely buy you 2 shallow wells and wont pay the mobilization for 1 deep well. It just covers the board's salary. More of an executive toy than an oil company. Good luck to them. | shonep

07/9/2018 14:48 | It's not worth anything like £31m so I am sure there are a lot of questions being asked by those actually stumping up the cash It's not just unusual to have this much of a gap - its very rare I suspect it will get resolved and completed but the likely placing price will be coming under mounting pressure. | 2lb
07/9/2018 14:20 | They maybe very relaxed but I’m getting nervous about this - surely the fundamentals would have been sorted at the initial negotiations - I get the feeling the deal is not working out - one party is not happy and sticking it out until they get the deal they want | butler4
07/9/2018 13:17 | Great management very relaxed | nw99
07/9/2018 08:48 | After that brief oily diversion, back onto SWG and the time gap between announcing the deal and finalising the placing and open offer. The usual approach is to take your potential placees inside for a few days, get the placing done and announce alongside the acquisition, freeing up everyone to trade in the shares again. A 3 week gap is most unusual and makes me feel a little nervous about whether there is investor resistance on price or even investor concern over the deal itself. However, the SWG Chair has a great track record in the city so hopefully all will be worked out and my concerns unjustified. GLA shareholders. | watcher13
06/9/2018 22:26 | Good effort Piper Peter, this is the SWG board. Foxtrot Oscar with your shallow ramping. | cheekyfella
06/9/2018 12:02 | For information for anyone interested... Reading above some of the recent posts it is evident that some here are number crunching with regard to Forward P/E Ratio and EBITDA. PROFIT! Take a look at President Energy, a very profitable oil exploration and production company (PPC). It now is positioned with ever increasing profit and is totally self-funded for operations moving forward....there are multiple projects now on the go which will increase profit further. It has positive cash flow generation currently running between US$2.3 million and US$2.5 million per month, as stated by the Chairman, yesterday in an interview with Core Finance TV. Per month! Equivalent to approximately GB£2 million per month positive cash flow generation. The first half results (to June 30) will be out this month which will show an enormous increase on turnover from last year, with the current half running well ahead in terms of positive EBITDA. Bid 8.5p / Offer 9.0p Market Cap £93 million. A serious post for serious investors. President Energy. PPC. Pp. | piperpeter
