24/8/2008 08:25 | Fenseal3 ..Q)..Why should I or anyone else buy shares in Altrue, what's in this investment for me as a member of the public ? What's the companys stated dividend policy and attitude towards profit sharing ? It seems to me,correct me if I am wrong that Leo Knifton has indirectly protected his own family financial interests and involvement in montague Pitman by the issue and control..of 49% of the issued loan stock(s) with further warrants and options attached. remembering that in the event of liquidation and a wind up of Altrue Inv. he will get priority over ordinary shareholders. Hardly seems fair or attractive to ALL shareholders to me imho regards Ben | ben angel
24/8/2008 08:19 | lol ...I shouldn't think so..I just believe this company will eventually fail it's own shareholders unless the directors ...start to direct the company in the interest of it's own investors instead of abusing its own powers !!! | ben angel
24/8/2008 06:55 | So ben...if you do not invest in ATR then i have lost all my investment then!! | fenseal3
24/8/2008 04:52 | Jakenife...I agree with you Leo.. is running this company like a private company..Its an obsevation not a complaint..but its worth mentioning because his own compliance officer should be warning him that he has a first and foremost duty to protect all his shareholders interests !!! | ben angel
23/8/2008 09:47 | Jaknife I have heard similar remarks about "shifty nifty" from dozens of individuals who know him and have worked with him in the square mile.... forget all that's said as many people are biased or jealous ... the important question to ask is does he have the ability to make profits ...the answer is yes..can he run a plc no he doesn't have the experience .....until this is sorted out.. as you say.. the company remains a pile of poo!!!....can this be turned around yes !!! regards Ben | ben angel
22/8/2008 21:18 | tell me fenseal3 how many shares are currently held in city pension funds and with other major city institutions....outs Isn't it about time Leo starts to run this company in the interests of all its shareholders and clients instead of himself for a change. It's not just me that's making these comments. Please don't miss understand me . I have a lot of faith in Leo's ability and skills as a market maker but his skills as head of a plc are now seriously being put to the test. In my opinion to succeed Leo needs to consider all shareholders and change his methods and direction especially if Alltrue is to gain respectability and financial backing from friends and fund managers from the investment community... He knows all this anyway however this company unfortunately is currently being managed like its a share bucket shop and this approach must change if fund managers are going take note and invest seriously in this company. kindest regards Ben | ben angel
22/8/2008 20:41 | Ben Angel, you said..."two years time 10p"....from above, "alltrue shares are overvalued"....when do you get out of that padded cell!!! | fenseal3
22/8/2008 19:47 | Thought for the weekend question to readers of the thread..If Leo and his board are happy to issue 50 million shares plus options for IX a loss making outfit....how many shares and options will the same board allocate/award a company turning in annual profits on a regular basis ? .. It's unfortunate for existing private investors because taking into account all these IX losses and closure costs. Alltrue shares are overvalued at current market levels regards Ben | ben angel
22/8/2008 16:21 | Thanks Ben much appreciated! | hobkin
21/8/2008 19:11 | Hi. Hobkin...Not much ..Possibly a major stake changing hands thats all ..maybe leading to a board room re-think in terms of a change in direction .. Apart from this... Jakenife in his posting (989) sums up everything reasonably well ! regards Ben | ben angel
21/8/2008 18:56 | Can anybody bring me up-to-date on what's happening with this company? | hobkin
21/8/2008 12:24 | "Rodspotty ...Personally ...I can only speak for myself ..on this, what appears as the official Alltrue thread ...It so happens ...I do not share the general view that inside information is illegal ...private information regarding my intentions should remain private and not illegal. " The best ways of disclosing my prior intentions ...is to make the Inside information and my intention public... --so this is an announcement by myself of my intentions to approach Leo Knifton again, and his board. a...) To formerly apply or request a vote from all shareholders, for at least one seat for legal representation at future Alltrue board meetings, to represent the 50 million shares currently overhanging the market ...I wish to acquire this holding on behalf of my family ! regards etc. | ben angel
21/8/2008 07:52 | thanks jaknife...very good summary but i do not share your views re. your point no.7...although ..I grant your views about the climate being extremely tough for most stockbroking individuals and firms As you know stockbroking has always been a feast or famine industry...and brokers at Alltrue (a very small start up company)... are finding no more difficulty or no less spivvy than for any other firm of brokers ( large or small )...whether firms are chasing small private client business or major new corporate clients and winning rewarding city fees. What I am keen and interested to know, is whether Alltrue is intending to cancel 50 million shares for exchanging lX or alternatively, happy to sell this holding on ..to one of my companies ? .. regards Ben | ben angel
19/8/2008 12:10 | You have the wrong share JakNife, this isn't PTC, yes it is a Leo Knifton vehicle, but thats where the similarity ends, there is no debt, there are no warrants or loan notes and they are close to a maiden profit. Also why would the boiler rooms promote this share, when they do not have any shares to sell, both fenseal3 and myself have been the only players active in this share over the last 12 months, mopping up the few that have come onto the market. DYOR Rodders | rodspotty
19/8/2008 11:52 | these shares are going to fly through the roof soon - say two -three months should do it !!! | ben angel
17/8/2008 22:28 | It will be interesting to see the interim results at the end of September, I would hope for an increase in turnover and a small pre-tax profit, even in these difficult trading conditions.DYOR Rodders | rodspotty
17/8/2008 19:44 | harry punter aka ben angel returns same ramptastic style...:) | spitfire3
17/8/2008 19:41 | rodspotty..lovely holding; i should hold tight my friend if i was you -you will do very well over the coming months ..major corporate and strategic developments are in the pipeline and being lined up for alltrue ..let events take there natural course .. | ben angel
