Yes, a disaster recipe would have Goodfellow as Head Chef for 7 years and Chiplin in charge of baking for 3 years. I wouldn't trust them to bake a Cup Cake between them.

Bs - Imho the disaster was letting Chiplin, Holloway & Lewis anywhere near Scancell. If you wanted to run a company into the ground at breakneck speed you'd be hard placed to find better candidates.

With sells going through @ 4.5p now it's hard to see what realistic options are open.

TF, a deal would involve giving away future revenue for an upfront payment. So even though the percentage shareholding remains the same, its value is diluted.
Same with a loan, the interest will reduce earnings.

Tosh has said much the same.

The REALITY is, folks STILL talk of 'raising FUNDS' at 10p.
With an S P - for ages now at 5p, with DWINDLING 'cash in hand' and little prospect of interest... without the VITAL DATA/ TRIALS = WHO, in their 'right mind' would NOT ask themselves HOW does anyone think FUNDING at 10p is "On The CARDS" ???
Barring a 'miracle' - that trHYPER SCAMMERS 'push'... The WISER folks ask =
Do SCLP allow the CASH to RUN OUT, and HOPE for 'the rabbit to appear'...OR....
FACE raising FUNDS to 'keep HOPES up' and the 'lights on' ???
IN FACT, are SCLP even 'ABLE' to raise enough MEANINGFUL FUNDS at present 'limits' without an EGM ???
The WISER, more ASTUTE - KNOW who the trHYPE SCAMMERS ARE... and how DANGEROUS THEY ARE.

BUT - Common sense SHOUTS OUT =ThEY ARE NOT, and WILL NOT 'Go ANY IN", and are NOT prepared to believe
"there is NO RISK here" ... Quite the opposite in fact.

any loan will either need to be repaid in cash or via a convertible, either way, the fact that the debt sits on the balance sheet has a dilutive effect.
A deal would mean giving up something whether it be potential IP or ongoing revenue streams, so once again, it has a dilutive effect.

Gazza I'd agree 10 pence looks optimistic to say the least.

If Scancell obtain funds from some sort of deal or even a loan, surely that's non-dilutive to S/H ?

i agree, apart from the fact that it depends on what the funding is for. If its just to keep the lights on and pay extra salaries due to the directors giving themselves a large pay rise, then i have a few issues.
Also, to a certain extent we have already raised the money for the trials quite a while ago, so we're now pretty much doing the same thing again, whilst being no further forward.

Just my observations.

Personally, I think a fundraising at 10p is extremely optimistic. I would think somewhere between 5p and 8p.

And another thing, can everyone try and get into their heads two things:

1) There is no such thing as non-dilutive funding
2) Dilution, as a means to get funding, is not a bad thing.

we can speculate, as thats what owning shares is all about. However, unlike a certain village idiot who continually claims that unknown variables are already proven and are FACT , when we speculate, we don't post that speculation as FACT.

That said, i agree with Panama's prognosis. I hope im wrong, time will tell though.

TF, you state " BUT you don't know what's coming re funding ". Yes we do the share price tells you whats coming and it ain't a deal with Biontech and it ain't a Fundraising at a premium. Holloway is very reliant on getting the share price back to 12p he has stated that on a couple of occasions. Draw your own conclusions IF and it's a big IF the share price gets back to 12p there will be a fundraising at 10p.

Panama, not only that, but also consider the number of people who could / should have benefited from treatment.
Im a shareholder so my primary focus is on the financial aspects of my investment, however, im also more than aware of the potential life saving treatments that have been missed.
Certain BOD members should be ashamed of themselves. I dont know of any other industry where such incompetence would not have resulted in people losing their jobs.

We all jest about being able to run the company better, but the reality is that many of the posters on here, actually could... they couldn't do any worse, thats for sure.

If the share price is 34p and the CEO states categorically that the Company's future is very short and will be sold for many multiples of the share price and seven years later with the vast majority of II's and PI's sitting on losses and the share price at an all time low should a Company that is working in the field of Cancer that should be a beacon of integrity and honesty still have a position on the BOD for that individual ?

So you found no comfort in this from Gooosed's link earlier, "Dr Chiplin's proven success sourcing global capital" ? MMMmmmm. (I didn't either).

If I was to put on a philosophical hat, I'd surmise that what Scancell are doing is so far at the cutting edges, that the exercise is inevitably, not a simple one. BFN

i dont like cheats.... i dont like liars.... He is both.
Its not an obsession, the fraud needs to be shown for what he is, which is a despicable little man with an ego the size of the universe.

To this day, having been proven wrong on hundreds, if not thousands of occasions, he is still yet to admit it, preferring to change the topic and avoid having to concede, its pathetic... he has no balls at all, he is a coward of the highest order.

He also has major personality issues, and people who don't know him, can be sucked in to his deception ( the other BB is testament to that fact, its littered with people who listened to his utter rubbish, and now carry massive losses because of it ).
