26/2/2019 09:06 | A little melodramatic, tosh. It's been ticked up a few times though - I suspect there's a few drama queens "lurking in the darkness"! "A disease that desperately try's to shroud itself in deceit, so as not to be found. A disease that falsifies its intentions and lurks in the darkness, only showing itself when it comes out to cause severe harm. A disease that when caught out, disappears back into the darkness very quickly, only to regroup and reappear when it feels strong enough again." | wigwammer
26/2/2019 07:43 | I find it rather ironic that our own Scancell BB has been gradually infected by a horrible disease over the last few weeks. A disease that try's to take over and distort the status quo of a previously healthy body, draining the life blood out of any healthy cells that it touches. A disease that desperately try's to shroud itself in deceit, so as not to be found. A disease that falsifies its intentions and lurks in the darkness, only showing itself when it comes out to cause severe harm. A disease that when caught out, disappears back into the darkness very quickly, only to regroup and reappear when it feels strong enough again. Thank goodness we have our own living Modi's here on the BB. Posters who unmask and expose the tumour so that the bodies other natural defences can identify and control the disease. | tosh123
25/2/2019 16:50 | Lozan - be careful, my in depth research has shown that section can lead to severe adverse events. | bermudashorts
25/2/2019 16:13 | Most interesting, certainly cleared up any lingering doubts and questions I had about the science... concise and to the point, well done Professor LD.Plus always good to know that the transgenic mice have played such a pivotal role in pushing at the boundaries of this cutting edge science. | 10acious
25/2/2019 15:28 | Bob - Thanks for that. Just popped-in for a 'top-up' Must admit, item 1664 has captured my attention for further study. | the real lozan
25/2/2019 15:09 | Immunobody generates High Avidity Cd4 + CD8 +t cell response .. phenotype th1 moditope generates a cd4+ t cell with cytotoxic ability and with a TH1 phenotype Maybe you should read the investor day PF again .... ... and you seem totally fixated with a CD8 ... when actually the CD4 in both SCIB1 and 2 is just as important ... CD4+ T CELLS – KEY PLAYERS IN THE IMMUNE RESPONSE Provide vital help for CD8+ T cells Locate to the tumour site and release IFNγ which induces a plethora of immune responses resulting in tumour eradication Directly inhibit tumour growth Promote tumour cell apoptosis Induce cascade of of events at tumour site including activation of dendritic cells, CD8+ T cells, natural killer cells, macrophages IFNγ facilitates a pro-inflammatory environment by inhibiting regulatory T cells (Tregs) and promoting expression of other cytokines to attract T cells to the tumour site IFNγ also up-regulates MHC class I and class II antigens on tumour cells that aid their recognition by cytolytic CD8+ and CD4+ T cells | inanaco
25/2/2019 15:08 | Some light reading while you're enjoying your beer. New peer reviewed Moditope abstract has been published - link below | bermudashorts
25/2/2019 14:52 | Alternative Figs - Have had to 'lay off' / 'Cool off' from pruning our Fig trees ....As it has hit 33 C in the sun just now. A bit much for this 'oldie'... A beer is "On the CARDS" There is always tomorrow morning to resume... When it's cooler | the real lozan
25/2/2019 14:41 | Inan Thanks for all the previous posts - so essentially it's correct then that ImmunoBody generates a CD8 T cell response and Moditope a CD4 response. | bermudashorts
25/2/2019 14:00 | Inan, "Sounds to(o) much like religion" So you have some phycological aversion to the word hope because it holds religious connotations? I have to tell you, there are many instances of hope with no religious connection. Perhaps you are thinking of faith? So you expect the trials to be successful So you desire the trials to be successful therefore: You hope the trials are successful. You have faith that the trials will be successful. amen. | gazza
25/2/2019 13:44 | ONW i have not replied, i thought best leave that to the others to gauge the respect for you like Lozan No body replied ... | inanaco

25/2/2019 13:30 | Inan, thank you. Strange you have a problem with hope but not expect. You really don't need to be scared of words. hope Dictionary result for hope noun noun: hope; plural noun: hopes 1. a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen. | gazza
25/2/2019 13:21 | """"YES"""" Oh Dear Is now a good time to repeat the UNANSWERED QUESTION = "CAN anyone show ANYTHING / ANYWHERE in the past 7 YEARS.. that inane'n'co trHYPERS - GOT ANYTHING RIGHT ??? " . "A simple yes or no will suffice." BUT SILENCE 'suffices' MORE | the real lozan
25/2/2019 13:05 | Gazza Yes | inanaco
25/2/2019 12:23 | TF (19865) "Gazza - where are you coming from with that ? Inan will certainly answer 'YES' so why do you ask ?" Well, he hasn't yet! (LOL) | gazza
25/2/2019 12:21 | Inan, OK, I will use a different word for you. Do you expect the trials will be successful? A simple yes or no will suffice. | gazza
25/2/2019 12:11 | Gaz, he fears that if he doesn't dance around the semantics, then he'll simply have to admit to his inability to have used the correct approach to assisting people in anticipating successful trials in the future. Since we already know that he's incapable of showing any form of recognition of his rash words in the past (which by now will have explained to any but the most intellectually challenged why the finacisl part of his predictions have woefully failed to date) then his makeup will not allow him to admit any question of failure of any part of his (many historic failed)predictions. So sadly I doubt you (or anyone else for that matter) will ever get an admission from him of any failing on his part over the last seven or so years. Sad really, because if he could just get over that obstacle, he might have some worth going forward, but I doubt he ever will!! AIMO ATB | oldnotwise
25/2/2019 12:00 | Gazza SCIB1 keytruda which trial has failed ? Moditope ... already explained the word "Hope" is used when you have not understood the rationale behind the trial its a word you would use ... not me ATB | inanaco
25/2/2019 11:43 | Inan,My question was:Do you hope the trials are successful?A simple yes or no will suffice. | gazza

25/2/2019 10:04 | Gazza Lindy's pre-clinical research data has translated into human data in both immunobody and moditope I hope that you can appreciate that the outcome of a vaccine is the creation of Specific T cells with the correct functionality, these are natural in that no modification of a t cell is required ... I also hope you appreciate that the priming of those cells is done by Professional Antigen Presenting Cells, so the actual "drug element" only happens at the injection site and has no further involvement once initialised apart from subsequent boosters to encourage clonal expansion and to capture further T cells that respond to all epitopes of the vaccine. (some SCIB1 patients required 10 injections) As such the immune response becomes nature's response .. what's very interesting is Moditope as in effect plays a Dual Role ... it does not lose its capacity to signal other T cells which is why it was so important that Lindy held back on the earlier Modi1 to add amplivant which is what drives efficacy, and potency of the vaccine as it switches the T cell to ""pro Inflammatory"" this actually suppresses the TH2 CD4 T cells which "down regulate" and these chaps are not desirable, if you are going to "reverse" the escape Phase The modi1 vaccine "immunogenicity" is already proven and is being proved up by BioNtech ie if the epitopes did not engage "NO TCR" would be in evidence and the BioNtech program would never have been initiated """"Immunogenicity is the ability of a particular substance, such as an antigen or epitope, to provoke an immune response in the body of a human and other animal. In other words, immunogenicity is the ability to induce a humoral and/or cell-mediated immune responses."""" so the next stage is Proving "breaking the immune suppression environment" it works in mouse ... now prove it in humans | inanaco |
