It is just the way i work innan, done the same with clp since last july, five times in and out, now have a free ride there after always leaving some in.That share was privately recommended to me last june or so of a very experienced guy over on the other board.

Fair enough inan, iwas going to open another tranch but it did not go to 12.5 which was my other buy in price. If rns came out and the share price rockets i will be as happy as all on here because my main pot of shares do not get touched, in fact get added to on every trade.

12 p innan on my last buy so am getting more than 1 or 2 p when i sell, probably at 16 p or so.As moljen said not bothered if it does not fall back as will have plenty left in here.It will however fall into another trading range albeit higher.

Ageee but its better to value the "effect of spending the fund raising" then 17p looks a tad cheap

13 June EU Patent effective, might see another leg up, nice to return to 17p as before the fund raising

I am not stupid, what i posted is signalling .. ie your calling 17p as a resistance level, yet apart from history which would not include current RNS you have no idea what the resistance level is. However you cannot say this, as the policy you have based your investment strategies on, your own post on PREM indicate substantial losses.

Every investor has to make the decision, there is no "fixed" method to guarantee being on the right side of the trade at every turn. As you have highlighted ...The one RNS that breaks the mould. In Scancells case that is highly likely as its pipeline is so wide, and diverse across three platforms.

What i am trying to say your posts are way to simplistic as your only looking at backward indicators based on past performance and completely ignoring future indicators that could identify a significant uplift even based on current information.

if your trading and your out or partially out, you lose "leverage" ie the more you hold the greater the return.

makes no difference to me what you do, but if your advocating an explanation of what Logman is doing ... at least explain it in great detail in a balanced way, which is what i have just done

In, it's just what shares do, they push up to a resistance point several times and then break through. Perhaps the easiest example is go and look at one of mine over the last couple of years (GVC), patterns at £8, £9, £9.50. The share repeatedly reaches, drops and then if the underlying fundamentals are good bursts through to the next one where the pattern repeats itself. It's like yesterday's post Loggy will no doubt sell some around 17p and will lock in some profit, it doesn't matter to him whether it then goes up or down, if down he'll buy more in when he thinks it's going to go up again, if it goes through 17p he'll wait till it finds it's next resistance level and wait for the pattern to repeat and start the process again. Yes he's risking a Unicorn event RNS occurring BUT only on the trading portion of his pot. I really struggle to see why you are having so much difficulty with this concept - it's not something i do (probably should do) but in terms of an approach it is perfectly logical and reasonable for an investor to do.

to do that logman you need to satisfy yourself that the share will fall back ... on current form with what is coming, what potential negative would cause Scancell share price to fall ? mini pull backs are normal trading, so are you now trading for 1 or 2p ? or have you spotted something that can drive it beyond the spreads.

Some excellent posts from moljen today, how refreshing.
J777J, think you will find traders like myself are to by building a holding here whilst taking profits and accumulating free shares in the process.

Lessons *WE ALL* CAN learn -
Lesson 1...Never kindly offer to share your strawberries with a trHYPE SCAMMER
HE will only try to take 'sneak-off' with them all.....
Then try to 'flog-em' for £8

Just as a matter of interest -
As 'holiday season' approaches, is it out-of-the-question that 'punters' may have 'played-the-game' ???
Let's say someone bought 10,000 shares a month or so ago, at 12p {Which one could}... = £1,200....with a view to maybe providing a little 'holiday spending cash'.
Now, sells the 10,000 at say 15p = £1,500....£300 extra holiday spending cash
.
Would this represent = A shrewd / smart 'move' ???
OR
NOT ???

Oxb mkt cap now £600 million,up £100 million since licensing deal. Why? Because a lot was clearly already priced in to such an event. With Scancell, less than a tenth of the Oxb mkt cap, there is very little priced in to such events.Massive upside, with fairly limited downside risk.

not trying to score any points, not interested, if i was, i would blitz the lse like i have done in the past to raise Scancells profile, posting on every aspect of Scancell. But its a fruitless exercise due mainly to the market's short term nature as you yourself has highlighted.

With so much good stuff coming out via RNS over the next 18 months, i don't expect any major pull backs in the share price. As your an LTH you can appreciate what I am saying, and indeed you should be well aware of my understanding on the subject of scancell and the way it connects with the industry.

Best of luck with your holdings, the science indicates you will do very well ..

Whatever your strategy wish all of you the best, I'll continue to hold here for the long term but today's decision on where to put a rent payment received has been made and it's elsewhere.
All I'd say ladies and gents is if you all wound it in a bit it might coincide with a change in the general trend of the last 5 years which has been downhill with the odd false dawn.

I know, but then again, I don't 'promote LOSSES'
I maintain, There is nothing WRONG in 'investing in SCLP'... for one's own reasons / reasoning.
I also maintain, like yourself, that....LOSSchild and the trHYPE SCAMMERS = are/have a detrimental 'misleading' effect.
For 6 / 7 years, I have said...ALL opinions / Alternative Views should be welcome
It should be for the individual reader themselves, to decide their 'input value'
NOT a dictatorial censor { Who CANnot get ANYTHING RIGHT}

Certainly brings the 60p odd Panmure price target into some perspective. If the oxb licensing deal is a foretaste of what it to come £6 is not unrealistic and in fact could still prove cheap.

Case rested because you're trying to point score yet again, think you've just confirmed my point .... boring, boring, boring.
Pleased to hear share price moving up as the 15 min delay is still showing me as down on the day bye just shy of a grand. I'll begin to get excited when it moves back up to the 2013 levels (yep I was the guy at the AGM back then when the price was around 50p saying then was the time to raise funds), for now I'll just wait till it reaches 16.68 which is my average.
