18/4/2018 17:40 | Very strange how toshwings went quiet at the same time ? | fragma
18/4/2018 17:32 | Lozan, Not often I agree with you but even Tosh/hotwings has joined innanacos party! never thought i'd see the day. At least they are crying together for a change. | fragma
18/4/2018 17:12 | crumbs on Lse : "Quite!...is this all about new directors and mates getting in before the real fun begins " I would be even more of a multi millionaire if I had a pound for every placing I heard that one on ! | fragma
18/4/2018 16:57 | hotwings is tosh ... his stupid hahaha ... gives him away | inanaco
18/4/2018 16:48 | Inanaco, as I said, he bought in today and is already 10% down. What a fool ! | fragma
18/4/2018 16:40 | Tosh Posts .. """Still, at least its now done and dusted for a year. I will definitely take up my options, and see what happens for the rest of this year."" but some how tosh's portfolio is not affected by the Cash call .. LOL after bleating about funding he again did not sell any .... ? having told us he would not buy at 10p ... a change of heart ... | inanaco
18/4/2018 16:36 | What a cracking day. Tosh buys in this morning and for the first time forever says (with conviction) that the share price is going up, and then he is already down at least 10% for the day. Hotwings will be buying a KFC meal for one instead of a meal for two tonight !! PMSL ! | fragma
18/4/2018 16:15 | Because with an share price of 13.5 and placing price of 12 there's not a huge amount of scope - we've both seen bios recover quickly from these fundings and the market could very easily move against you. Just interesting that you feel and would post that it's prudent - I'd say risky but each to his own. | bermudashorts
18/4/2018 16:13 | Tosh does all his maths on what the share was ... in our case 18p ... so simple lets take his 7500 sell in IMM ... could have sold at £1.90 = £14250 decided to sell at approx .35 . £2625 net difference £11625 not in his pocket ... do you see the problem he has ... to be astute or not to be .... only after can you point fingers .. | inanaco
18/4/2018 16:01 | RH - to try and answer - I see 2 issues :- Scancell have a unique but smallish (growing) team/resource and the science seems to be on an exponential. Scancell will not give it away - knowing where the Holy Grail goes..... Scancell do have many partnerships now - CRUK, BioNTech, Grand Challenge, Keith Flaherty, ISA Pharma, Addario et al. Now there's a new arm to the science - after 7 years I'm telling myself 'give it time', same as you are, but now, with something 'left field' in the short or near term, I'm happy with what the BoD have done. The potential sums involved, will NOT be best negotiated from a 'cash corner'. ATB | torquayfan
18/4/2018 15:50 | B , yes, if you knew that you would get your 1;19 , and maybe more, then why not ? theres a premium to be had if you want to monetise a position / take some profit, by just forward selling your OO shares. Fragma is correct, its relatively easy money if its practical... just don't think it would work on this share as per previous posts. Who knows... each to their own. | tosh 123
18/4/2018 15:34 | Tosh, ' a short would be a very prudent thing to do ' Do you genuinely believe that? | bermudashorts
18/4/2018 15:34 | Agema, I agree. Also the borrow fee on such an illiquid stock would be very high ( probably over 6 - 10% ). | tosh 123
18/4/2018 15:31 | Fragma, I understand the market very well ( I worked on it for over 20 years ). Your balanced market synopsis is true, but hardly ever happens during times of unusually high volumes, in fact its highly unlikely I'm afraid, as theres normally an event behind such things. I was agreeing with you that a short would be a very prudent thing to do, but, my concern would be moving the market, but hey, each to their own. And yes, I am an advocate of taking profits when you can with AIM stocks. The whole market is a casino and often has no rationale what so ever, so if you can get your money out and achieve a free ride, then that's great. | tosh 123
18/4/2018 15:28 | Good luck trying to get a firm to lay you a short on a baby bio in an aim company. You can bet that next week there will be some selling. As long as this price holds or it goes up slightly. The placing participants will be looking for a quick profit. | agema
18/4/2018 15:22 | Tosh, i'm surprised at your lack of understanding. Volumes can be extremely high and not move the market if they are balanced 50/50 between buys and sells therefore volume by itself has no correlation to shareprice. I'm not saying a short would move the market, i'm saying that a short may be a prudent move as there are now £7.5 million which can be traded in a day or two that are in instant 20% profit, and as you have repeatedly told us, AIM is not to be held, it is to be traded ! | fragma
18/4/2018 15:22 | TF, if the science was seeing us through don’t you think after 5 years we would have secured something financial in terms of a partnership? | rhatton
18/4/2018 15:21 | Inan. Good day for Scancell. Always back the science - what else is there ? My last 100,000 was at sub 12 pence so never mind - when the share price hits 'X' it'll be quite nice. The 'astute' will realize that with 100% of the arguably extended IP, the payoff in the end will be OK, or more. You are right not to quibble with Lozan and Tish. The science IS seeing us through. Better things to do methinks. Don't feed it. ATB all. | torquayfan
18/4/2018 15:16 | Tosh Is it done and dusted for a year.? This money will keep the lights on but will not find all their current plans. I would not be surprised to see another fundraiser near the end of the year. | agema
18/4/2018 15:13 | Fragma, there is a tangible correlation between volumes and share price. If you suddenly hit the market with a few million shares, then the share price will almost certainly fall, so what I'm saying is that your notion about shorting is definitely possible, but IMHO, I doubt that you could short any sort of size without moving the market. It's the opposite of buying large size, unless its an OTC transaction, then large buys will move the market upwards. | tosh 123
18/4/2018 15:06 | Average volumes have no correlation with share price ? or buying/ selling pressure, so not sure what you're implying ? | fragma
18/4/2018 15:02 | Fragma, its very possible, but thankfully I think the average volumes will restrict that from happening in any size. Still, at least its now done and dusted for a year. I will definitely take up my options, and see what happens for the rest of this year. | tosh 123
18/4/2018 14:54 | Looks like this may be the share to short now ! £7.5 million sitting on an instant profit of 20% will they risk it ? | fragma |
