DE,
thanks for that, i will take a look.
I take it that no such contacts were made outside of the States though ?

Im just trying to find an alternative funding relationship that wouldn't include massive dilution or the selling of some IP.

I just cant see another market funded cash raise being viable.
History would dictate a reasonable discount would need to be applied, so based off the current market capital, it just doesn't equate ( even at no discount ).

So that leaves two options, either a third party funded collaboration, or a sale of one of the platforms.

It is is worth taking a look at www.mikemilken.com and www.lungcancerfoundation.com - A good friend of mine made a number of introductions as part of an effort to raise funds stateside in 2015/16 - all to no avail

Who mentioned anything about big pharma having more power than its regulator ?

Most certainly not me... So it must have been you... what an idiot !! What a silly statement to make.. You really are one brick short.

Working in a regulated environment for over 24 years, i am more than aware of the power possessed by a regulator, its just a shame that you clearly dont have the same knowledge or understanding.

Oh well... nothing new there though is there.
No risk... Fully Funded.. £8 / share.. CRUK in the bag.. £20 mill in the bank.. just another one to add to your ever growing list of uneducated RUBBISH.

whats that got to do with anything ?
That was in Oct 2016 and a " newly designed " devise, NOT 2013 ( 3 years earlier ), and furthermore, it was seeking "US" approval for the first time..Totally different set of circumstances, at a totally different time.

Just slither away...

No picking up or dusting off required, your counter " evidence " holds no water what so ever.
Just admit it... you're WRONG yet again... £8 ... no risk here... what an oaf.

I think that i speak for most people here when i tell you to "jog on" back to the other place.

Oh for heaven's sake.... I see there's evidence of bits of fatberg apprearing on this BB. it won't be long before we'll have trouble getting through the mass of congealed and cloying effluent as it clogs and stifles the discussions.......
Shame, it was all going rather well.

Big Cheque book ... Inovio

oh look ... Questions raised by the FDA on electroporation device

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa., Oct. 24, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Inovio Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:INO) today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has placed a clinical hold on its proposed phase III clinical program for VGX-3100. A clinical hold is a notification issued by the FDA to a trial sponsor to delay a proposed clinical trial or suspend an ongoing clinical trial. This study has not yet been initiated and has not enrolled or dosed subjects. Additionally, the hold does not pertain to any of Inovio’s other ongoing clinical studies.

Inovio anticipates receiving a formal letter with complete information from the FDA within 30 days. In its initial communication, the FDA has requested additional data to support the shelf-life of the newly designed and manufactured disposable parts of the CELLECTRA® 5PSP immunotherapy delivery device. Inovio is working diligently with the FDA to address its concerns and anticipates that the requested data will be available before the end of this year. Inovio estimates that the start of the phase III clinical program will be delayed until the first half of 2017 pending resolution of the FDA’s requests.

Tosh ...

The license of SCIB1 was still dependent on maybe an upfront plus stage payments etc

so we would still be waiting for IChor new Gun to be approved, indeed SCIB1 remanufactured ...

so you would be now moaning about not getting stage payment !!

Tosh et al -
IF, one was in a position of 'responsibilty' and 'in charge' of HUGE sums of monies to invest...say, a position within a BIG PHARMA...Would it not occur to one to 'investigate' deeper into the background of the 'proposed investment'. ???
One might easily take it upon one'self to check-up on forums/BBs, to gain an 'insight' as to what existing shareholders of said 'propsed investment' were saying/thinking.
Had ANYONE 'in a position of 'responsibilty' and 'in charge' of HUGE sums of monies to invest...say, a position within a BIG PHARMA..' looked-in on the M F F F = This might explain WHY any 'proposed investments' went ELSEWHERE.

Gazza.,
our resident village idiot is still on the " no one understands " soapbox.

Of course the market understands, they're all looking to achieve the same thing whether that be via internal scientific development, or buying other peoples IP.

As for being thankful that no sale took place, i just find that statement totally bonkers is every respect.
Firstly, and most importantly, one platform or another would have been far more progressed by now, maybe even available as a treatment for those people suffering.

and

Scancell as a company would be solvent and have the financial resources to fund further trials on the remaining platform, rather than continuously raising money at lower and lower prices... You're BONKERS

P7 - selling SCIB1 at Phase 1 was the 'plan'. Plans are brought to fruition sometimes and sometimes not. Many a slip 'twixt cup and lip ! In good faith . . .

NXC is being open and helpful and no doubt, he shared your disappointment at the time.
