Inan, the grown ups here are having a discussion about investment. Not all investments are about "the science". The investment opportunity in VAL recently has been far greater than the opportunity in SCLP (recently). You could have made 7x your investmet had you bought at 1p and sold for 7p.

If we follow your dogma, "it is all about the science" it must mean that VAL's science is superior to SCLP as the return has been greater?

As for tosh's statement

Surely that is what ALL investors do, including everyone here?
Are you not confident of a good "outcome" here and hence the reason you are invested?

Dr, you are correct about the delay having nothing to do with the Ichor Gun, that was all sorted 6 months ago. the delay is more likely due to BOD's incompetence in filling in the IND form.

precisely.
As has been witnessed quite a few times recently, so called " inferior " science has been bought for large amounts of money.
I am betting on a potential event being brought about by the potential of Scancell, even a school kid could understand that concept, unfortunately, our caped crusader is still lacking in the intellectual department, so struggles with such matters.
And with maths.
And with English.
And with business.
And with trading.

In fact, his lack of understanding in most things is apparent, the list is just too long to write out.

tosh, I would say most investors are (betting on an outcome)
The fact is, the results do not have to be spectacular for this to be a financial success. Someone could come along with a wad of money and buy us up, making us a profit regardless of the future success. The "science" only has to improve outcomes in a small % of patients and this could be a commercial success. This is true of many biotechs even those thought to have lessor "science". It's NOT "all about the science" but some can't grasp this point.

Its very simple ;-
Whoever buys Scancell ( the company ) will be "investing in the science ", i am merely gambling on a potential outcome, eg ;- someone buying the company or one of its platforms.

and ineptico bought and holds shares that are so far out of the money that he has to continually try to make himself feel better by trying to justify his MASSIVE errors in judgement.... very unsuccessfully i might add.

You would swap places with me and quite a few other posters if you could, but the reality is that you cant, you messed up big time, and you're now paying the price.

Just remember, I'm playing with your money, not mine... mine is already reinvested and working elsewhere, yours is funding my free bet, thanks again for that.

This is a gamble using someone elses money, in fact i'm probably using some of yours, so thank you for financing my bet, its appreciated.

i would rather be in a position of holding a free bet, than holding 600k shares at an average way above the current share price, so im not sure what your point is.

As for financial gain, you, of all people are in no position to question anyone elses financial gain ! You dont even know what it means !
And for the record, there has been financial gain, because when i got my initial investment back from trading scancell shares, i re invested it elsewhere, and have achieved a reasonable return eg ;- financial gain .

So ineptico, you are not in any position to attempt to discredit, because some of us have ZERO exposure here, and some, like yourself, far from realising any profit what so ever, have managed instead, to rack up massive losses.

Good points re the BOD.
Never mind baNANA going on about delays.I CONsider the main reason why the IND has NOT been submitted is due to Fact SCLzp have NOT proved they are FULKzy FUNDE£ to COmplete trial something they need to DO.
Until they are Fully FUNded to Complete this work they will delay Co bo trial but nothing to do with Ichyor Tricuspid Gun but with NE3d for MOney.
No matter next raise is on cards at 8p and as LNama HTtie says BOD will award more options so skin is hard working investors.
It asrtutues know this with freebies Inlike PLUM who gets more RYHype as he gets WTered a lot more

so that potential stops you realising any profit from your investment here as you have already told us your average is very very low, not quite freebies

so basically you have been posting for years with no financial gain to this point indeed you have watched your freebies with an average fall in value over that timescale despite your own predictions of doom and gloom

we have tried to explain away the delays with ichor and the development of moditope with amplivant but you have ignored those posts .. so no point repeating them

but "the Science" clearly in your case is over riding all other considerations would you agree ?

Like I said the Science looks promising, the fact that I have been here years gives me every right to question the BOD's performance which has been nothing short of a disgrace when you compare it with all the statements, soundbites, presentations, tweets . Totally misleading to the point of being downright lies. Fact their lies have cost a lot of PI's a lot of money especially those who bought after that video in the 30's 40's and 50's. That video is very much a summary of the BOD's total incompetence in taking the Science further.
