Please do not attribute me with things I have never said. I have NEVER advocated BUY and HOLD policy. I only said I bought this morning I never said I would hold. If they hit 20p next week I may sell. (I do have a core holding as well)

FUNDING

Lots of nonsense being posted on funding it IS an issue, it's not an issue etc.

Ignore where you are coming from and try and think logically -

Is funding an issue? Yes it is, it hasn't been arranged so is still an issue.
Is it a BIG issue? Yes it is, since without funding the company cannot move forward.

Is it insurmountable? No. There are many funding options available with a wide range of financial implications. The money required is very small in the grand scheme of things, pocket money for a lot of rich individuals.

Given that the placing was oversold, it is probable that a similar placing could raise the same again. Please go and do the maths. Work out the impact on your investment if Scancell raised £20M by issuing 250M shares at 8p. The shares would be worth over 11p. You could by a few weeks ago at 10p and this morning for 12.66.

The devaluation of you CURRENT investment would be small. The big impact would be on potential gains so you only get £1.50 instead of £3.00 or whatever it turns out to be.

Perhaps, who knows. I actually bought today. I posted earlier on LSE that I thought the share price fall was overdone and I thought it would be back level by close of play (or at least the end of the week) The problem was I couldn't get enough at sub 13p that I wanted. Never mind.

You make the point that people should deduce what you mean when you just post the word "FUNDING" in caps. Therein lays the problem. Without other words (nouns, verbs,conjunctives etc) no meaning, opinion or thought is conveyed. The cynical might think that having put just a word with no opinion expressed you can later say it meant whatever with hindsight you meant it to. For example, had an RNS been issued to say funding had been achieved through a licencing agreement you could claim that's what you were alluding to. You may attain a little more credibility by making predictions BEFORE they happen. ATB

It was an INTERIM raise so SURELY MORE is needed to do ALL the trials.
Yes OVER subscribed BUT as has been pointed out by ASTUTE many of these institutions will simply FLIP there shares making a NICE profit.

That is why it went DOWN to 10p due to SELLER and everyone ELSE in CITY knew about the PLACING except for NANA.

That is why ASTUTE BUY at 10p and sell,at 16p and WAIT for next PLACING at 7p and laugh at NANA losing lots of money.
